Let’s Make 24 Centrepieces Using

My hubby asked me if I could make 24 centrepieces for a gala and I said of course🙃 Actually, I’m pretty happy with how they turned out! I used 48 glass bowls and 24 margarita glasses from the #dollartree and a lot of gorilla glue. I purchased the flowers from #Michaels and they were buy one get one free (yay!!)

Thank you! So I ended up spending a total of 720 for everything! $30 per arrangement and that included glassware, flowers, batteries, fairy lights, glue, foam and tray.

I got excited for this at the beginning as my daughter is getting married. Until I realized the height. Rule of center pieces is: if you can’t see the person across the table its to high. Either go higher or lower. I will use the dishes as my base. Maybe a candle under the bottom dish and small flowers surrounding the top.

That would be a great idea! I couldn’t find the candle sticks in my dollar tree, otherwise, I would have used them. The height worked for our gala because the tables were so large.

That’s true. I just went to a bridal shower where the centerpieces were too high. It was weird because the bride’s aunt has a side floral business. I wonder if she does that for other occasions.

I'm sure so much more about $18. Per 2 centerpiece for just 1 type of flower & she used several types, not only that ferns not low cost at all, but she did a beautiful job.

Those R beautiful centerpieces & U did a fantastic job, but I'm sorry going 2 Michaels 4 your flowers, doesn't seem like much of a budget for 24 centerpieces: using several different flowers gets quite expensive I go 2 a discount flower place & just 1 bunch alone would be $9. so you are looking at $18. for 2 bunches to get 2 centerpieces, & you R using several types of flowers, the price I give is a discount place & Michael's would certainly cost more than that; then I add the trays & lights, just curious how much of a budget is that? The ferns alone & as many as U use $$$, I mean However beautiful the centerpieces R, how much of a budget is it really? 👏🏾👏🏾Great job tho.

I was lucky enough to get buy1 get one free at Michael’s. I bought them in bunches and each bunch had a variety of different coordinating flowers which made it easy to arrange. The total for 1 centrepiece including flowers, foam, glassware,glue, batteries and fairy lights came to approximately $30. I would say the flowers, alone, cost about $22 per arrangement. Make sure to buy them when they are on sale. Hope that helps!

It was an awards gala. It was approximately $30 per arrangement. That included glassware, flowers foam, glue, batteries lights and tray. So all 24 centrepieces cost approximately $720

Not going to lie…this was fun and stressful all at the same time and I was pretty darn exhausted afterwards. In the end everyone at the gala loved them and I couldn’t have been happier❤️🥰

Thank you! Some of the flowers and greenery I bought from dollarama and the rest I got from Michael’s when they had the buy 1 get 1 free sale. One arrangement including glassware, glue, foam, tray,lights, batteries and flowers cost me $30.

Greenery and flowers alone were $20 per arrangement. All glassware, trays, glue, batteries and lights were another $10. For a total of $30 per arrangement. It was very cost effective, in my opinion.

I would say each stand with the flowers, fairy lights and batteries cost about $30. Michaels had a buy one get one free sale on so I saved a lot on flowers. The glassware was $4.50. So the total cost of 24 centrepieces cost $720 Canadian.❤
