That was so different about LMAD the cars were exciting to win but that was the runner up prize where today in 2022 it's the grand prize. A 9,000 deal would consist of a high class furnished living room or bedroom

I'm old enough to remember when the original Opel 1900/Manta came out then in the early/mid 1970s, I believe that in this era of the "New" (1998-2010, 2012-present) Beetle/Mini Cooper/Fiat 500 and the new retro-style muscle rides (Camaro/Challenger/Mustang), why not an all new Opel Manta, the classic ones were great, so why not in this "what's old is new again" era we live in. I'm sure that the new Manta would be offered with multiple trim levels and engine options (turbo 4-banger/V6/V8 etc)

Favorite part of any Hall episode is if Monty said nobody took (insert door number), they know someone's going to win the Big Deal. And when he says who's going to win what was the middle level of prizes (or was overlooked as such), the other contestant would realize they've won the big deal and shriek!

@robertofontiglia4148
@robertofontiglia4148 4 жыл бұрын
There was never a show with two goats and a car -- there weren't often "zonks" in the Big Deal segment as I understand it. But there was always one "Big Deal" item and two lesser-valued things, and sometimes (at his own whim, it appears), Monty would offer a contestant the chance to switch doors after having revealed one of the lesser-valued items. I have yet to find an episode where he actually does this, but I've read an interview where he said he'd do it on the show sometimes...
