In this little video I jabber all about the amazing benefits of red clover(Trifolium pratense), why you need her in your life, & show you how insanely easy an infusion is to make!
I'm aware I made a math mistake folks where it's 4 gallons not 8 made from a pound. It's one thing to point it out, another thing to be a jerk about it.

I use paper coffee filters and a funnel when straining the plant material out and I also use them when I do tintures too.

I’m really enjoying your book. It’s really one you don’t want to put down. I’m an aspiring herbalist at 62! I’ve been studying/working with herbs for about 30 years - I guess I should say that I am an herbalist but I still say “aspiring” because one never stops learning. I love your personality- the way you just say it like it is- it’s real and so is your knowledge. Thank you!

This one is DEF not expensive for me! It grows all around my backyard and in my neighbours back fields! It's a VERY common herb in our area. My kids just call it nectar b/c they like to eat the blooms petal by petal.

I wrote to via email, and on IG but I can't get through your much needed gate so I wanted to share a few tags I am using that might work for you. I am a beginner youtuber but I like you love to over share and help. I have no idea if these are helpful but here it goes anyway in case you see this. Live closely with nature, herbal wisdom (I rank for this you should for sure!) making natural medicine, gathering wild food (s), herbalist, being a medicine maker (this one for sure), making medicine in the mountains, making tea in the mountains, herbal medicine for... , gathering food in the wild, slow life in the woods. Hope this helps! I am by no means an expert. I love having another herbalist on youtube who is more on the intuitive soulful level verse only clinical. xoxo to your hands and heart.

Hey April, I have some questions: 1. Does the infusion have to start with dry plant matter or can I infuse with fresh stuff? It grows pretty prolifically where I am. 2. Can you freeze an infusion "for later" like in an ice cube tray or something? 3. What about a kombucha (since it doesn't have B-vitamins to begin with, just a thought)? 4. I've tried nettle infusions and really liked them, but since I started working with wildcrafted, home-dried stuff, they tend to have that twinge of things that have gone off but don't have visible mold yet, if you know what I mean. Even if I put them in the fridge. Am I doing something wrong? Also, can I just say, I really appreciate listening to you ramble :)
