I'm so fascinated by chicken fried EGGS! Never heard of that before, but I'm so intrigued. If the wet batter and dry flour wassn't interesting as all get out, THEN found out the large round cooked eggs get cut into 8 slices! Wow. Mind blown. Pretty sure I might have to make this. Wait - dipping sauce for them? I'm all in!

I can't wait to try this.. and I see so many ways to grow this basic recipe. Adding to the eggs...minced veggies like onion, garlic, peppers, spinach....shredded cheese....finely chopped ham, bacon, or sausage.... Such an opportunity for our imagination to run wild... And whoever would have though to add jalapeno juice to the batter?? BRILLIANT! I am so happy that I found your channel.

In my household, that amount of mayo in the jar is PLENTY for three or four sandwiches if you let my dad take over. He's what we call a scraper. He scrapes out condiment jars, yogurt cups, peanut butter jars, etc.

This looks like the perfect alternative for wanting fried chicken but not wanting to go through frying the actual chicken because for chicken, even the prep is more involved and takes longer and no need to worry if it's cooked through and through, especially if you're wanting or needing the whole process to be fairly quick!!!!!!! You could even add some dill pickle chips(hamburger sliced) and or some fresh mushrooms to the starter plate and batter and fry those up for additional items and/or to help things stretch out further if need be, like an extra mouth to feed, etc.!!! Thank you Pam, for sharing this!!!!

That recipe came from one creative chef making somethin' outta nothin' in the frig!!! LoL I had a creative mom, although nothing really chicken fried in NY in mid 20th century. Mac and cheese was not a holiday staple, sadly, and her homemade m&c was really good. Her dad learned how to cook out of necessity to get a job in and around the great depression, became a professional chef, and nothing went to waste. I am not as wasteful as my sis, NO leftovers for her, I cook enough to CREATE left overs, same parents, lol ! Your mayo jar would have had a tiny splash of milk or cream of some sort, swirl it around that mayo to combine (similar to your bottled ranch dressing for thickness!), add to ranch dressing, yep the bottle in your frig, no one will know, don't forget to shake it to blend in your secret of an extra serving! And your mayo jar is almost clean. I throw them in the dishwasher, taking out any cardboard in the lid. Being on the poorer end of the money scale as a single mom in my 20's , we. learn to get creative. My boys were 3 & 4 years old, I stopped at Mc Donald's after a long day of a caretaker slapping my youngest son,(leaving handprint marks on his face) hospital visits, police interviews, and poor, we didn't go very often. I think both hamburgers were under a dollar, when I got home I made them frozen fries in the oven, they never mentioned, or questioned I made them, the burgers (ugh!!!! ) represented the fact they had mc Donald's. and happy meal toys were not yet on the kids radar! I'm thankful to have found a County job, decent pay, regular hours, off shift at times, but still a routine. Thanks Pam, you are a joy in so lives, some you'd raise an eyebrow at, and a spatula? Ha ha. You've touched the hearts of some many, just by showing US how it's done....... I knew nothing of the chef comp that is currently running, happy to have found it in order to support a blessing from Above! You truly are one of God's special gifts & a messenger! Watching to see the results from Thursday's closing! 👩🏾‍🍳 Currently first !

I watched your video last night. I made lunch with your recipe this afternoon. I had to triple the recipe due to a family of 8 . They all loved it. I also made your sauce to go with it. My children all 13 on up thought it was really chicken. My husband thought it was wantons. I used my husband's lunch trays from his food trailer so he thought i ordered the meal lol. I told him no i used eggs and flour. With a little seasonings. He was floored. Thank you for this amazing recipe. Your video was long but it only takes about 15 min to make that is prep and everything. Again thank you god bless your journey in the u tube videos. Looking forward to more of your recipes.

Hmm I’m thinking take a triangle of the egg put a piece of cheese on it then a triangle on top of that, then batter that and all. Oh a piece of jalapeño on the cheese before the top triangle. Then batter and flour the two times then fry.

You can surely try it. But a word of caution. The egg is Very soft and may not hold all of that even while battering it up. I even had one of my egg triangles tear today while battering. But if you decide to try it please let me know the outcome because it sounds delicious!! 😋

Personally, I would whip up a batch of gravy to go over it & make some air-fried potatoes with some onions on the side. yum! My husband would put some gravy on the 'tators, I would put salsa. laughing... Thank you for a great recipe & ideas!

I follow a mostly vegan lifestyle. I was thinking about substituting chickpea flour “omelette” for the eggs. I was gifted some chickpea flour and I’ve been doing a lot of omelettes with them lately. They’re good and quick to make as long as it’s seasoned well.

Maybe try it with the chickpea flour omlette and then double dip it.

@@MaryGatdula 😁I can’t I don’t want any flesh. Although I didn’t stop eating it because it was nasty.😁I did it as a preventative measure. Been listening to and following Yahki Awakened (tv) for about 5 years.

I use the same thing, garlic and onion powder. I use paprika when needed. I don't usually use salt so I use the other spices instead and pepper. Love your channel.
