Let’s Make Dumplings!

You probably know this Dumpling Pouch - sometimes called a Half Moon, Persimmon Pouch, Clam Shell and even a Taco Pouch. It's a cute little zipper pouch loved by everyone.
There are lots of other patterns for this shape but you'll love my Winner Designs Templates because of the “No Slipping; No Kidding” Backing. This ensures you’ll get accurate cuts quickly and easily.
Plus, you’ll always get perfect Boxed Bottoms because of the Boxed Bottom Cut Marks built into the template.
My Winner Designs Dumpling Templates come in 5", 6", 7", 8" and 10" and are available for individual purchase.
The Measurement in each name comes from the measurement from the bottom middle to the top middle as well as the measurement from the left to right between the Boxed Corners.
In this video, I’ll show you the steps you’ll take to cut and stitch these up. Make one size or make all five; they nest nicely inside each other. What a great gift all five would make! Or better yet, stitch them up as a great gift to sell!

Hi Brenda - I could have sworn I had a graphic showing each dumpling & the zipper length but can't find it on this computer. I have lost files over the past months since I've had 2 computers die so that may have happened here. I am in S. Great question, Kelly! Dumplings open wide, which I love, but you don't want everything to fall out. The Insert Template lets you add a little flap or gusset, on each side of the dumpling, so it still opens wide, but nothing goes spilling out. I understand your comment; especially if you have never tried any of my No Slip Templates. But once you do & see that they truly 'grab' your fabric then you might think differently. I have people that tell me all the time how much they love my templates because of the consistent results they get & the ease of use. If you're only making one then it's hard to justify the cost. Once you make more, then it's easy to see~ I appreciate your feedback.
