I always do a extra bead of glue on the inside of the tire once everything is glued and set up it just helps everything stay together even better

Thanks for sharing Tim, I’ve made well over 50 sets at this point. Definitely a bit of an art to it. Lots of cool tires to choose from. The tusk work well for the process. Not all tires work due to tread pattern

I just pick up the pittbull pxb in 2.2 that are 5.4 x 1.6 and use ci 1.9 foams soft front and medium rear only one run but doing good so far

I saw Logan’s China Treps that he cut and shut and tried my hand at it. I found a facial hair or beauty scissors works very well for cutting tires

That's exactly how I did my C&S Tusks, but you did a MUCH better job explaining the process in your video! DB Hobby has one of mine right now developing RocKonforma Pro printed inserts for it.

@@TRDAdventures he's building quite the library of inserts for tires...even the ones we have to make ourselves. I've started further fine tuning the printed inserts by cutting up foam and inserting it into the openings.

You could use a sacrificial tire foam to guide the gule up process if it sticks I'm sure u can pick it out

How do you measure the size of the wedge to cut out on something other than the tusk where you cant just count 3 lugs back?

That's awesome how you break it down. I was wanting to do this for a c3 tire but had no clue where to start. I saved your video to come back for reference since I also run the tusks. Only question is what glue do you recommend for this process?

I just used some Losi tire glue. Figured if it head tire on my limitless it should work here

Yea, cut & shuts are anything new. Done right they hold up great

Don’t use dig while in rocks with cut and shut tires. My Ultra destroys them.

I can only imagine the ways I'd mess this up and create a disaster wasting a bunch of money. my ADHD + 3 kids would cause me a panic attack haha... fingers glued together stuck in my hair or something. someone has to have made this by now.. Proline?
