I just LOVE this series of gnome books so much. Have to admit that when I was a kid I used to be afraid of the Troll illustrations, but I've always adored the gnomes and animals. Rien Poortvliet was a wonderfully talented artist to bring these characters to life so vividly!

Good morning Barb'ra and ice cream unicorn, sooooo great to see you both! 🧚‍♀️✨❤🦄 So sorry for my late reply, the forest has been bustling with beasties going about their Spring activites and has kept me rather distracted as of late lol! 🌳😅 Oh yes you can rest assured that absolutely no wabbits were harmed in the making of this video! 🐰 The English language is quite a conundrum that's for sure - just making and breaking rules as freely as it chooses, with oftentimes no rhyme or reason. 🤣 Okay a bookshelf tour, I'll make it happen! (...now does that also include the books stacked up or scattered across the floor???? lol!) GREAT news!!!! Your letter has arrived at last!!!! I had Sophia go out on a sniffing quest and she discovered that it had been grabbed by a particularly troublesome troll who wanted the beautiful mail for himself. Turns out he was actually just a bit lonely and I told him that we could open the letter together so that way he wouldn't feel left out. This seemed to brighten his mood immensely and I daresay I saw a little sparkle appear on his cheeks. (I didn't think trolls could sparkle so I'll have to research this... maybe he's actually a vampire??? LOL!) I have a video under the #thriftythursday playlist where I share my collection that you may enjoy viewing. Sooooooo many adorable animal illustrations in them, plus cute stories as well! They inspired me SO much when I was growing up. YES, these are the traditional gnomes with full faces and red hats that fit properly! (nowadays the poor gnomes hats are so big they fall down and then they can't see a thing lol!) Thank you for voting on wanting to see my book shelves! I'll make a video with a little tour!
