A few painting tips. When painting plastic use a adhesion promoter first. Also make sure you clean all the parts throughly I would suggest using alcohol. Another tip when using Dupli Color Metalcast you have to spray it over silver or gold. Metal cast is transparent. Also for a smooth glass like finish wet sand in between coats to get rid of "orange peel". Last clear coat is important.

would have loved to seen you disassemble the gpu. Would have been great for other people who wanted to do the same. Shame you skipped that completely

Agreed. But I actually planned on making a separate video 'tutorial' on how to do it.. just never came to fruition. I still have the footage so it's still possible if you're interested? :)

Hi, I'm interested in how you removed the extra gray small plastic parts from the panel of the gpu... isn't they melted in the back? so you need to destroy them and glu them on instead?

hey beeyee are you still going to make the asus strix video? if not can please tell me how to get those tiny parts of the front shroud?

Sadly, I lost the footage. The smaller plastic pieces on the front are held on by tiny poles with some adhesive, use something flat and metal like a knife and push up on that little tab/pole thing, the piece should pop off fairly easily. though it'll need a little glue to stay attached when you put it back on. Hope that helps bro!

what camera that you use?

Kresna Bayu Putra its a Nikon D3300. Not the best for video making but it's nice

You upscaled the resolution to 4K? I thought you use any 4K camera

Kresna Bayu Putra yes. Raw camera footage, even if it's 1080p, looks a little better in 4K. Not only because of ups along, but KZfaq allows a higher bitrate for 4K videos too, so the bitrate alone is a huge benefit. The upload times can be ridiculous though. :p
