Welcome to a new video!!! I'm breaking up the current collection of "Adventures Over Leaves" videos with this months artwork. One which I'm really proud of. It is titled "Florilegium"
The word Florilegium means “a gathering of flowers” and was originally used in 1590 to describe a publication that focused on the beauty of flowers and plants, rather than their medicinal purposes. Florilegia portrayed collections of rare and exotic plants. Here, this character is doing just that ❤️

You talking about medieval stuff and painting is bringing me back to my last semester of college this spring where I did 15 vaguely Medieval-styled paintings in gouache, I would often get one painting done a night and I think I spent like a month on it.

Thank you!!! Oooh I struggle with naming characters. Maybe because naming them makes them become someone other than ‘me’ or other than the viewer. It makes it harder to see myself as them (or the viewer to see themselves as the character) I think! Hmm! I’ll have to think about that a bit more!!!
