I got Harvest Moon: a wonderful life from my brother when I was eleven. I had to stay inside during the summer because of an terrible accident that should've, according to the doctors, killed me instantly. During my many surgeries they had to remove skin and the skin that was left was so fragile I couldn't be in the sun. So my brother used some of his savings to buy me this game and I kind of don't want to know how many hours I've spent playing this game, lol! It was a lifesaver. Just recently (!!!) I discovered that Another wonderful life exists!? I was SUPER excited and went online right away to find it and buy it. The only copies I found wasn't PAL and therefore wouldn't work on my european gamecube.. I got so sad and been checking almost every day hoping someone will sell it with PAL. That would be a dream come true! Anyway, I've never watched your videos, I found your channel through searching for this game and I'm excited about "playing the game through you". I guess that's better than nothing! :) Greeting from Sweden!

I used to tell my dad there was a female version of this game and he would try and look for it online EVERYWHERE and end up repeatedly buying me the male version!! He gave up in the end

I'm glad in the DS version they added more candidates for marriage, such as Griffin and Flora. Made no sense they weren't available from the original years.

marlin isn't so great either. he compares you to cecelia (he obsession) when you two married. rock is a freeloader. if I remember correctly, gustafa is the best canidate.

This particular village (part of the DS series as well) had such horrific bachelors, I'm surprised the girl version of this game even sold well. They are not attractive bachelors.

The most real harvest moon

Loved this game when I was little! My sister had it first and then when she grew out of it she let me have it. I really wanted to play it and I kept sneaking onto the game and playing it lol! She wouldn't let me play it because she wanted it all to herself lol. I guess the game only has two save slots so that would have been difficult for both of us at the same time to do it. Anyway, great game! Loved it! Thanks for sharing!

Actually, in PS2 version of HM AWL (HM AWL SE) you need fertilizer as well for the grass in your pasture otherwise they just won't grow...

A played another wonderful life before a wonderful life (also was my ever first and favorite HM game), having rented it from a Family Video. I always wished I could romance the girl characters, they're personalities and appearances were so much more pleasant than the bachelors. But I still wanted to play as the girl character because it felt more relatable to me. It's heinous they didn't give us good bachelors lol

I know this was years ago but Lumina is 14 in A wonderful life and another wonderful life and aged up to 18 in special edition and HM DS. (Not 16 because you marry her at the end of year one)

I absolutely despise this game. I didn't like any of the bachelors so I decided not to marry any of them so they kicked me out of town! >:( and if I remember correctly, this game doesn't even have any festivals. I might watch your LP and see if it gets any better.

I loved both but the male version was superior. All 3 romance options were incredible. Another Wonderful Life had terrible options. Obviously just my preference. Rock was the only one I was cool with lol.
