It's the little things that make this games better with time. At first , it's only Parappa and his Dance Revolution-for-your-hands antics, but then , when you're older, it becomes a 8-Mile-like documentary of a rapper's life , surrounded by substancces unknown to him and the emptiness of people, seen in Sunny's interest in that Chin dude because he has a nice car. So deep. (/reading too much into stuff)

In Parappa 2 PapaParappa finds an old wedding photo of him and his ex-wife which he comments "She was so nice". The way makes the comment implies that they were separated through an outside influence. If you have seen some of the comics made by Rodney Greenblat, creator of Parappa, you do see his mother who is a blond firewoman dog. Who also makes a cameo during Um Jammer Lammy on the firefighting level as one of the firefighters. If you put it all together, Parappa's mother most likely was killed on the job. ...or it could be just bad writing and being unaware Parappa had a living mother. Either way, disturbing.

its probably my system but theres always an awkward pause between the first couple frames of fleaswallow appearing for the level and the animation and audio starting so he just kinda stares into the void for a couple seconds then it starts
