XD Jumps can be pretty awkward at times .. especially since most people don't realise that there is a gravitation indicator at every jump ^^ Makes it far easier to understand the jump .. and on all jumps that "Allow" it i basically orient myself to be Upright in relation to gravity , makes it far easier to predict the point of impact ;-) But I'm currently working on a video about how to jump and what to expect on higher difficulty jumps XD ... (Beginners guide Part 3 ) I Mean .. you should never be concerned to lose muscle memory .. worst case is you might need 2 hours to get used to it again but it's like riding a bike .. you can never really "unlearn" something Edit: By the way .. Ixion is my favourite track because it was the first long hard track (Sounds terribly wrong) that reaaaally messes with your perception in things like , Jumping Straight up a wall (Ixion Reverse) or have like 60° tilted jumps and stuff like that It also kinda helps to pause and go to Photo modus and tilt your head so long till the Arrows face down so you have a clearer picture of what the hell that jump actually is XD PpS: This series actually just exists because I habitualy Replay the whole game after every patch to check on all platinums and all the Trophies ... and this time i thought .. why not just make a let's play out of it XD

@@HydrogLox but bro .. this is a skill based game .. 50 hours is a good estimation to learn controls like that ... Dirt rally for example is the same 🫠

@@tairach6373 Just as long as we acknowledge that *skill-based games* will always be *niche games* (shmups have the same issue) which *isn't* what the current games industry catering to the mainstream is based on. > most people don't realise that there is a gravitation indicator at every jump Originally I thought you were talking about the HUD indicator during the jump which to be honest I have way too much tunnel vision during a jump to casually pay attention to - but you are talking about the arrows on the *jump gate* which DeathMetalSeth pointed out in his recent “Redout 2 - Git Gud Gide” (21m35s).
