As you can tell from my profile picture, I am glad about the new addition to the farm, and as a John Deere agricultural engineer. I can assure you this is 100% as realistic as possible

The grass isn't showing as fertilized because you need to enable the grass crop on the main map (by clicking the icon it shows up, it is normally turned off). It is being fertilized don't worry. Also great vid, i love the realistic series.

I really like the TechMod 7R. I've been using it for awhile now, as well as their 8R. The only thing I didn't like, and had to change, was the persistent dynamic camera. I had to edit the XML file, because the dynamic camera really makes me dizzy for some reason. If you hit left control and G, when it's turned on, you can activate the vario grip. I don't know if it actually makes a difference in game, but you can see the effect of the deflated tires. The button on the steering column, next to the wipers, turns off the daytime running lights. You probably already knew that, but I thought I would mention it.

Spraying on grass is ok. It simulates weed spraying imo. However i use the weeder on grass to simulate chain harrows. Plus its free.

Like if you agree! Please do sheep and cows! less work as they both eat hay! And the more/ longer you progress with the arable farm then more feed you will have to the pigs later in the series And could you get a new/ old Massey Ferguson on the cow farm with frontloader and remove the Valtra?

ah darn, was hoping for West coast USA. Tiny square fields with fences is just unheard of in North America unless you have a hobby farm.

Daggerwin you can either plow it with «allow create field» enabled, but then you would need to seed grass, or use that roller from the texture mod offscreen and turn it into «grass field» and let the time run for a bit, doing it offscreen will keep the realism

Plowing then fertilising does work. it worked on Drummard too.

Try to buy something that has a tow bar, the van doesnt have one so its not really a good vehicle if you wanted tow maybe a fuel or water tank

Hey daggerwin I just got that John Deere tractor about a few days ago and I just wanted to tell you I found some really cool about it the computer you can actually go on and reset the controls on the tractor

When u go forward or +daggerwin, refercing with the JD the forward, refercing and neutral stick inside the cab it changes when u go forward or backwards

Dagger you should have got the green star autotrack option as that would enable the guidance steering

Put the green star on so you can use GPS because thats what it's for

Dagger there is a climb in animation were you see ur guy climb in the tractor that will add to the realism great vid as usual

Dagger you can climb into it by standing outside and pressing CTRL E or ALT E

You can press ctrl+E and you are climbing in to the tractor ore shift+E

If it is not planted spraying won't work I hope Giants change that

you can turn the running lights of with the i c and i think you should do 3 or 4 seasons so you can build up the farm more

daggerwin Im a part time john deere mechanic and the dials that you are talking about onely exist in the bigger deere`s in the 6r series and down there right in front of you.

The old exhaust could have been chrome because there is a lot of John Deere's with chrome exhausts

Youve never used a fendt on a realistic map...and since i rather watch the realistic series than the "unrealistic" series it would be nice to see a fendt on screen in the realistic series

Dagger, for round bale wrapping, if you even plan on doing that, I suggest you get the Krone Ultima round baler wrapper combo by bm-modding which is available on the modhub.
