@@goncaloferreira6429 sure. Standard price should be always low to make up for rotations and stuff. In the last years some standard decks ended up to be expensive like modern decks

I mean opening packs is like playing the lottery Its unlikely for you to make your money back and it's better spent elsewhere (buying singles), but if the action and suspense is worth it for you then go ahead. Paying 2$ for the chance of 20000 on a scratch off is fun, thinking about what you might do with it etc, unless you start to actually believe it'll happen

@@iamtired4974 well the actual viking trading routes reached out until southern greek, Constantinople and america and I think even north africa, probably wouldn't be unusual for them to have dark skinned people in their society because of sexual intercourse or slave trading. but in the end remember that magic is a fantasy game and it's settings are *inspired* by our world. they don't have to be an actual counterpart of it, that would contradict the whole idea of a fantasy setting. and tbh for me it's part of the fun to imagine a world where the color of your skin doesn't matter because in this imaginary world humans went totally different ways than we did in our world and timeline. also wizards is a capitalist company and so it's in their own interested to appeal to as many people as possible wich explains a bit of their recent decisions, but a lot of companies decisions in general in most recent history. it's all about the money. If you're interested so much in norse mythology why you don't go and learn more stuff about them instead of critizing something in a way that's definitely opinion based rather than constructive, do you think your opinion has such a high value? if yes, maybe you should apply for wizards R&D, narrow minded thinking is exactly what those guys need. anyways have a nice day

I imagine it's due to the meta not finding "the one" yet. When Eldraine and Ikoria rotate, the meta is going to adjust bigtime.

I think my favorite so far has been Shock Troupe. I've always wanted a speedy little Rakdos deck but just never built one. The one you buy from CK is great, but I swapped a few of the cards out for Lightning Bolts, Judiths, and Light Up the Stage, and man, it can be brutal!

Are they worth buying to tear apart? For example my cousin is new to MTG but likes Knights so if they have a knight deck I might buy it for him as a gift to add to his Knights collection. That is if they have a Knights deck to begin with. Regardless I'm curious in general
