I've been watching the kickstarter for 3 years, not so patiently waiting. My friend backed it and it didn't make sense for both of us to have a copy since we will be playing together. He got his copy last week and we planned to spend a couple hours trying it out to see if it lived up to the hype. OMG. 13 hours later we had to stop but neither of us wanted to. We are both juggling life, work and family obligations trying to find time to get back into it. The game is worth the wait and more than the price tag they have on it.

Looks quite fun! I love the "take a health damage to reset your bag," it really adds to the decision making so you don't feel "stuck" with a bad bag.

I ordered after I saw another playthrough and this just reinforces my decision. It's way beyond what I usually play (dry euro's lol) but it looks amazing. I cannot wait!

I'm so excited for this one. I didn't get it in the KS, but near the end of the late backer/pledge manager. I waited a while so I could understand what the original backers must feel like. It looks like it will be one of the rare late delivering games that will fulfill and exceed backers' expectations.

when attacking, do you apply the chip/card damage bit by bit, or do you place all your chips first then total your attack? Im asking because it would be the difference in the enemy defense activating each time vs just once at the end.

Good question! Each attack is resolved separately, but there are chips that effect the ATK modifier for all attacks made during the round. The enemies defense reduces the incoming damage for each separate attack (not just one time). Check out the example below: Example - if you draw a 'Strengthen' chip (Green chip), it's placed on the Guard's Ability Dashboard and is active until the end of the ROUND. This means ALL attacks made by that Guard have +1 added to them. Now, let's say you draw the Strengthen chip, and then attack an enemy using an ability card that has a +1 modifier. That means the Guard would attack the target with their ATK value +2. +1 from the Strengthen chip, and +1 from the ability card itself. If you had additional abilities that could attack an enemy target you would calculate them the say way. Note that the +1 from the previous ability card would NOT be added to future attacks, but the +1 from the Strengthen chip would. I hope that clears it up for you!

Can you play the whole game as a single character. I don't want to dual hand.

No, each campaign has you controlling two of the Guards so you'll always have two Guards to manage. You'll have to dual hand if solo, or play with a friend. :)

I just got my copy and the box is not only large, but it's packed with stuff and super-heavy. I think the shipping is fair-especially for the quality of the stuff inside (nit just talking about the chips, but the components, storage and organisational solutions, art, and card quality

The box is huge and weighs a ton, it would cost me more than $50 to ship it to my neighbor.
