33:36 - For Torrent to be valid all of the targets must be within 2" of each other, not just within 2" of the model you are declaring as the main target (that would be Blast)

Could it be that you guys forgot about regular overwatch? I think the breachers could've gotten off a few more hits. Also what about Breach and Clear (basically GA2 on any 2 operatives within 3" of another once per turn)? It allows you to do some nasty stuff like advancing the breacher and allowing the heavy to come in behind or zipping the Gheistskull across the board and immediately detonating it with the void jammer. I don't think that the chainfist guy can cut through those walls. Iirc their wording prevents this and similar abilities (Breacha Boy and Writhing Ingress) from working here. It works on non-Gallowdark terrain though.

This was very interesting. The long halls definitely didn't help the Breachers, but one thing I will disagree with. The wording on it, as far as you guys have said and the guys on Warhammer + is treated as a doorway. Which means the Imperial Navy can measure through it. Also probably shoot through it.

I dont think barricades have to be within 6" of your killzone with ITD. Its anywhere on your half of the board but not within 3" of another barricade or 2" of a heavy terrain feature

GW are doing something funky with the pricing here in Canada. I had heard $280 CAD would be the price, the same are Heart of Ghur. The discount retailers have it 15% off $280 CAD. The official GW Canada store has it for $260 CAD. What's going on? Just for comparison, it's £130 in the UK which is about $200 CAD.

Just because the leader dies, doesn't mean he doesn't earn CP. Each player earns 1 CP per turning point regardless. If they have a leader, they start with an extra.

Terrain looks great. Pieces lock and are interchangeable I presume. Doors open and close. After the pieces are primed and painted - they’re thicker. Do they still fit? Any tips or tricks for keeping those doors swinging and the wall joints interchangeable?

The interlocking tabs are pretty tight to begin with so I would advise pre-fitting them to taste, sanding as needed, and maybe avoid painting them with some masking tape.

Navy Breachers need to use Cover much better. Walking down the middle of halls like they're implacable Marines isn't gonna [& didn't] work well. Blaster was here... & in GW skirmishers, Cover is Life!

want to start playing 40k but no idea where to start, kil team, combat patrol, table sizes, armies, and then every time i look theres new sets , no idea whats compatible. So confused lol

ALL the models are typically compatible with basic 40k. Most of what you're discussing are different SIZES of game (apart from Kill Team which is a separate ruleset). If you're after a simple intro product into the game to give it a go there are a couple different starter sets that come with different amounts of models produced by Games Workshop. The big one comes with a rulebook, terrain and two armies. www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Warhammer-40000-Command-Edition-EN-2020

I have the Necron space marine set. I think the recruit box. But past that I don't know what to go for. Kill team looks fun but I'm confused by all the sets , seems to be 2 more now also. Is all kill team compatible and do they all play out of box?

AFAIK all Kill Team sets are compatible with each other, but you are gonna need the respective set books to know the rules of the respective teams (Kroot soldier rules are only in "Into the Dark”, Arbites rules are only in "Soulshackle”) and there is a chance that errata in between sets has made one team more/less powerful than another at first glance (so always check the GW site and forums for errata).

Do you actually get an XP for each enemy you kill? The way it's worded I thought it was that you get 1 XP at the end of the game if you killed one or more enemies during that game.

I don't think the Breachers player was quite up on the finer points of Kill Team. Presented himself as easy targets too many times. It did make me think Breachers might need a *Covering Fire* type Strat [maybe even Faction Special Ability] tho. Like one Friendly model does nothing but move & a Friendly model within 6" gets a free Overwatch shot.

Would have loved watching this a bit more, but the constantly shaking and fast moving camera would have made me lose my meal. Did you ever consider using a static one at least for portions of your content?

54:15 wouldn't the breachers have gotten an overwatch shot before this move, and after it? Unless there were no valid targets for any operatives to shoot which would make sense.

also at 58:28 even though its completely counterintuitive, all gallowdark terrain is heavy and non-breachable by things like the navy breacher and the breacha boy. This ability applies to all non-gallowdark terrain like it would normally (and you'd think that the navy breacher would be able to do it since it's their ability/map but I feel like it might have been way too strong in testing). But honestly the way you guys used it was really cool and unless youre playing competitively I figure that this is an ok rule to break.

This guy is always getting the rules wrong but acts like he is an expert at them... He also tries to be "tactically intelligent" but his strategy is usually pretty bad.... Lastly, he needs to drink water instead of smacking his lips all the time... its a killer on headphones.
