What Remains of Edith Finch Story Synopsis:
What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state.
As Edith, you’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she's the last one in her family left alive. Each story you find lets you experience the life of a new family member on the day of their death, with stories ranging from the distant past to the present day.
The gameplay and tone of the stories are as varied as the Finches themselves. The only constants are that each is played from a first-person perspective and that each story ends with that family member's death.
Ultimately, it's a game about what it feels like to be humbled and astonished by the vast and unknowable world around us.
Created by Giant Sparrow, the team behind the first-person painting game The Unfinished Swan.

About Molly: The berries she pucked from the Plant on the windowsill were holly - a common Christmas decoration and also highly poisonous, especially to children. While their not typically a hallucinogen, Molly could have been delirious from first being hungry and then eating poison, plus, Holly berries lead to really bad stomachpains, which could explain her 'constant hunger'. She wasn't actually hungry, she was just feeling her stomachpains. If you look around her room, you find lots of inspirations for her animals: The books about predetors of the wild, the Shark toy, a Stuffed Animal that looks like her 'monster' on her bed etc...So my personal guess is that she died of Holly poisoning and hallucinated her story in her last moments

no wander edie spent so much time in molly's room. Her not giving molly dinner is ultimately what caused her death if that's true.

8:54 The way Edith says this upon arriving... it always makes me choke up. The start of her journey along with the players. I feel like you have a good mindset for this, not determined to interrupt or make something needlessly comedic for the sake of an audience. A silent appreication is what this game needs sometimes. I hope you enjoy it as much as I and many others do

I'm from Washington state just across the river from Portland. They captured the northwest so well! The beginning in the woods made me so homesick as well as the photos of the mountains! 🙀😭

I'm really going to enjoy listening to you're reactions in this game. So many interesting things to discover and try to interpret, looking forward to what you make of all this as things progress. The way the game jumps into things with the first story is so great, such a bizarre tale that takes a disturbing twist. Oh I'm glad to hear you mention The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. I'm going to have to check out that let's play at some point, because I greatly enjoyed that game.

Ha, Welonz went right to the pet door to get in without trying the front door, just like I did. Proper gameplay, go to what seems like the way you're not supposed to go! XD

I've watched several playthroughs of this game because I love it so much. Some I just had to turn off because they are way too jokey and trying to be funny when this is a tale about death. I mean, jokes are okey, but trying to make fun of this game and failing is so cringy to watch. I really enjoyed your playthrough (well, so far, haven't finished yet :P ), and I just wanted to say that I really love your take on it. :) You are thoughtful, try to see as much as possible and try to interpret things, without trying to make fun of characters or setting etc. :) Thank you!

This game looks like it's Firewatch meets Hello Neighbour Alpha 3 so far, about 5 minutes in! Good combo IMO, very promising.

Every time I'm watching Mollys story I remember when I was playing it when she went "Rabbits" I heard... ummm the F word that's used for homosexuals, and it startled me for a sec before I read what she actually said.

Hello...I like to say that .a game called..*Late Shift*... release some days ago.. I play it.. I hope so much that you try it it's an intercative movie...it's about a choices.. I love the story soo much hope you try it....it's not long it will take one or two videos only I think....
