In this video I disassemble my Dad's old Craftsman half-inch 44985 rachet and rebuild it with a couple parts borrowed from a donor ratchet. I do my best to capture the reassembly steps.
New old stock (NOS) rebuild kits with Made in U.S.A. parts are hard to find these days and would be expensive, so I opt to buy a $20 donor ratchet on eBay as this is a common model ratchet that was made for many years.
