Hey Emily! Wal-Mart launched a program for people with sensory issues. The first hour they open, there is no music, no tvs on, and the lights are dimmed are a bit. They did a pilot program over the summer and got such great feedback that they implemented it permanently. It's possible that Target saw their success with it, and are now doing the same thing. Thanks for your awesome videos and positive energy you bring to us!

The Walmart closes to me does this from 8-10 every morning! I love shopping in a quiet, barely populated store. I find it peaceful.

Whoa! It thought what that was?😮 I had to pop into a local Walmart while out of town yesterday because one of our kids got sick and needed meds/gatorade right before a hockey tournament😢 It was before 7 am, the lights were dimmed, no music on it was amazing! Perfect for someone like me who is neuro diverse and also not much of a morning person😂. I might need to start making those hours for my regular shopping😊

Your early morning visits from the kiddos make me smile so much! I love the eye look. I feel like a lot of people complained that the cosmos palette needed more colourful mattes but I love how the beautiful shimmers go with the mattes they placed in it. Just so pretty, every single time!

Every day it's a "Shop My Stash" here and this allows me to tune into what I have, but also make a running wish list to look at later this year and decide if it's really needed or not. I’m on a no buy too. I have so many eyeshadow palettes and eyeshadow sticks, blush and bronzer. I think I have narrowed a lot of it down to what I really like the best. I did a declutter and gave my good things to my grandaughters, and I really need nothing. So shop my stash has become so fun. I have found things I really love now that never even used before. We can do it!! And we can save so much money.

Love shop my stash! This is a serious no buy year for me unless I run out of mascara. I absolutely must use what I have before it ruins. As far as Target goes, they stopped music years ago for aesthic and for people with sensory issues. My local Walmart has a specific time in the morning for people with sensory issues and elderly people to shop. They cut off the music, change lighting, etc.

I’m so sorry you’re sick with Covid. My husband, my youngest son and I all had Covid just before Christmas and our other son tested positive the day before Christmas. It’s definitely not fun. For me it felt like a really bad head cold 🥶 but I’m glad I’m over it. Stay hydrated. Rest as much as you can. God bless you…💕

Thank you!! To be honest I'm a bit bummed since we're having a little family gathering for Bitty's birthday and in the spirit of protecting dad during his chemo, mom and dad won't be here. I had a good cry this morning over it :( It's so hard but I know it's better to be safe than sorry, with so much illness going around in general. I'm trying to switch my focus to the fact that this is his healing journey and I'm grateful that it IS working and he's going to be through it soon. Hope you have a great day!

When I was going through chemo, it was extremely difficult to be away from the people I loved even in my house, to not be able to hug my kids was excruciating. I wish this kind of pain on no one. You are experiencing it from the other side like my loved ones had to and I know it was devastating for them too. It’s completely valid to be sad and pissed off. I know that you are doing your best to focus on the good but it absolutely sucks that due to the stupid disease known as cancer you don’t get to be with your father who I know loves you immensely. I am thinking of you and sending you as many healing prayers and comforting thoughts as I can ❤️‍🩹💗

I've gotten spreadsheet-happy this New Year. I have completely inventoried my makeup collection! It makes shopping my stash so much easier because I know everything I have. I keep track of the product, brand, shade, whether I emptied or decluttered, whether I'd like to repurchase, and notes about each product. I also have a sheet where I list products I want to try. I wish the rest of my life was as organized I keep my beauty life! :)

I have both the elf and the IT Cosmetics dual ended brush. For the smaller end I think the Elf is MUCH better. The bristles on the IT are longer and more flimsy and for my undereye it doesn’t work as well. I actually have several of the Elf now and use them for multiple things. It’s a great brush and by far the best Elf has. A must have!

I love the cosmos palette! Great look, Em! I need to use my Sydney Grace eyeshadow palette more often so thanks for putting that brand on my brain again! I got the Em Cosmetics holiday set with their cream bronzer and two blushes that you love - I’ve never tried those so I’m excited! White primer is a must for colored mascaras as then you aren’t trying to get a color to pop on dark lashes. I only have a white primer for that reason, otherwise just use a base layer of a mascara that does what you want and then (for me) a tubing on top so it doesn’t raccoon on me.

Lol...I love quiet stores. When I go to my Sephora I go when they first open....and sometimes before they get the loud music on which makes me feel rushed. I love music just not in stores unless soft and peaceful.

I live in Arizona, usually warm to real hot. Yesterday it snowed half the day with a really cold wind. Very odd for us to the point there were so many car accidents. Most drivers here see a drop of water on the road and they lose their mimds. Your skin looks amazing. I have watched you for about 8 years and could you are getting prettier every years.

The Ulta Matte Eye primer is amazing! I actually like it a little better than Milani because is doesn’t slip around as much. There is a shimmery version of the Ulta eye primer that I did not like but would probably be awesome for glittery date night looks or holiday looks. They would be great ones for you to try if you haven’t already! Love how the MAC blush changed and elevated the blush look you created. I might have to try that one.

I actually bought that Ulta matte eye primer first before buying the Milani . I had to experience the love Em has for it but I'd agree they both are pretty good!

Try the Lawless conceal the deal foundation. It's a very interesting formula that works great on my dryish skin. It looks beautiful on me all day. Mine dries to a lighter shade than it is when it comes out of the bottle. I got scares when I first got it. I thought oh man this is gunna be sooooo dark but it dries to the right color. Very strange but it works for me lol

Today Saturday I still have my tree with the lights on. I took all the decorations down and took the ornaments off last weekend but the glow of the tree lights, I can’t seem to put that away yet. That blush looks so good on you Emily. But all blushes do.
