Michelle Joy Phelps caught up with Eddie Hearn to discuss the undisputed heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia.
Hearn is backing the Brit in the contest and believes the Gypsy King, despite his relaxed demeanour, is really keen to win the undisputed championship.

I disagree with Eddie on one point. IF a former middleweight, then natural cruiserweight, who has to force feed himself & weight train just to make 220, - beats a natural SUPER heavyweight of 265 plus, who is arguably best of his era.. - The GOAT, in his OWN words.. - How could Usyk NOT be the best pound for pound fighter in boxing history??

@@FBugle I'm simply highlighting the huge disparity in physical stature & weight between Usyk & Fury, to make the case for pound for pound excellence in the case of a Usyk victory. Having also already beaten an ex unified champion twice. I'm NOT suggesting that Usyk could beat every heavyweight even in his own era, let alone in history. It's not the same thing. It's disrespectful for a boxer to claim assumed victory over people from past generations. Any fighter in history can only be assessed & judged against the opposition of his time.

I think we’re going to go see a fury who’s on a level we’ve never seen before. This is the first time Fury has even actually been scared of losing and he’s nervous. He’s obviously in the best shape he’s ever been in and he’s going to be hyper focused because the threat of losing is real. He’s never taken his diet or training this seriously before. He’s never been mentally focused like this before. He’s half assed his way through the division. Either guy could dominate the fight or it could be a super close one. It’s such a good matchup.
