Part of the reason the prices seem so crazy low is inflation but Avon prices were always very reasonable. The idea was that you were getting department store quality for drug store prices. When I started to learn to use makeup my mom had a lot of Avon, looking back the quality was meh, but teen me didn't know any different. I remember the colors for a lot of her lipsticks blush and eyeshadow seemed like they would look bad on anyone.

I feel so late on the Avon nostalgia bandwagon, BUT I'm here now, and that's all that matters! 😂 Looong comment ahead.😅 First things first, I was so triggered by Avon Air Fresheners! I hated them so much....so so much.😅😅😅 Anyway, I was 13 years old in 1988, a time I remember vividly. It's actually my favorite year of my childhood. My mom worked for the Federal Gov't and heavily purchased Avon until she retired in 2012. I also sold Avon for years in the 2000s! I'm so happy that you are doing these videos in such a fun, engaging way!

I was in college at this time & only making $3.50 an hour at my mall job. This was not cheap to me at that time. 😂

I'm a francophone and I don't understand why they would use the word "cloisonné" (walled off). Makes zero sense. Even if they are clip earrings, that still makes no sense lol. I've never used that word outside of, like, explaining a floor plan to someone. Another dellightful video, thank you Cole! 🤍
