Garden Warfare 2 is a surprisingly fun game to play. There's a lot to do and some very... interesting characters. Speedrunning it, though, is a completely different story. These speedruns are insanely hard to shave off just a bit of time, but are extremely rewarding to play.

The good thing about corn is he’s bugged I think and you can pretty much instantly kill Gargantuars by doing his jump attack right above it’s head to do a ton of damage really quick.

@@haka-katyt7439 it's easy, use hyper (RB or R2, or 3) then jump and shoot. when you see two or more zombies, bean bomb (LB, L2, or 1) and use totally fair and balance Gatling cannon (Y, Triangle, or 2) and your set.

Here is a tip that I can’t stress out enough when harming zombies or plants with armor you can shoot at their visible eyes or hit their feet and it will actually hurt them and not their armor

Probably one of the most underrated games of the mid-late 2010’s. I’m a proud 5455 and I don’t regret putting 1000+ hours into this masterpiece.

5:42 There is actually a theory that crazy Dave is a zombie, because he has a pot on his head, like bucket head and cone head zombies, and you never see under it. Plus at the end of PvZ, when he gets taken by Dr Zomboss, his pot falls down so he wouldn't have any protection. And on the topic of theories, some people say the player is just Dave's imaginary friend, because you never see yourself and in a trailer for PvZ 2, the paper he reads says "crazy man saves the world" (or something like that), which indicates that he was alone. Ok, pointless explanation that no-one cares about over.

Actually in one of the pvz1 cutscene things Dave jumps and the pot shows his head. Which is a normal head.

faster characters like peashooter, sunflower, and electro pea are better for ops alien would be a good pick since she leaves an AOE damage field that does 4 damage/sec

corn boss damage is completely unrivalled though base corn does 10 crit dmg with 45 shots with ammo upgrade and on top of that shuck shot and husk hop the slower movement speed is worth it

Pro tip for anyone who tries to speed run this, when I did it I tried a bunch of different characters and I found that the orange guy (citron) is by far the best. Hope this helped someone :)

It depends on the category you want to run, for garden ops, Electro Pea is the most optimal plant, and for Graveyard OPS, Toxic brainz is the best choise For zombie story mode, Toxic Brainz as well, and by last, for the plant story mode, Citron

@@ChristianD5661 oddly enough those are some of my favorites. BBQ corn is admittedly lower on the list, however he is my most played class (I mained him when the game first came out). Pops corn on the other hand is, in my opinion, the best one, at least for turf takeover where most of my experience with him is. He has a very, very sharp learning curve compared to the other corns but if you are able to play him well, he is a long range murder machine

From a corn main, some tips. Firstly you wanna use BBQ corn, as he is definitely the best corn, and you can control your ability that makes you leap, which can let you concentrate all the shots on a boss or an area right below you. Just some little things

I used to play this all the time when I had my Xbox account and I loved playing this so much. I tried max leveling all of the characters and I successfully did all the peashooters and I was working on the sunflowers, but then I got signed out of my account (it was under my dad’s email) and he couldn’t remember the password. We tried recovering the account but no matter what we did, we couldn’t get it back. Such a shame because I had so much progress on this game and a bunch of other games.

Note if Speezy ever wants to do another speedrun: The coffin/porta-potty zombies can be shot in the eye holes for extra damage. Edit: The same applies to the House Gargantuars.

@@glugging they play as any character in the game, usually as Sasquatch, one of the infinity mechs, or baron von bats, and just completely dominate the game. usually because they have made it so they can’t take damage cans in the off chance their playing hypno queen or bats then they will spam summoning the sunflower/vampires

For a speedrun You'd probably want to use a Toxic Pea and either Ailen Flower or Vampire Flower, in a 2 man squad, that would probably be the best combination

I hope you do the main campaign story. Btw a tip for gaining speed, if you are going down a slanted surface, let go of the control stick and keep bunny hopping. You will pick up insane speed, and with super brainz, if you do a heroic kick and let go of the control stick you will glide across the place. Its kinda interesting how nobody in the history of this games existence has learned this.

The pea Shooter is basically Sgt. Hammer. More damage in turret mode, but also has a strong mobility option.

I remember when it took EA/popcap over 2 years to 1. Nerf Cintron and 2. Fix the invisible Chomper Spikeweed glitch.

Hey easy, idk if this is where I should put this but you should totally do a speedrun of BADLAND. It's an old mobile game that I think would be really cool to see a speedrun of.
