I’ve handled dairy fine all my life. Recently switched to raw milk from pasteurized/homogenized whole milk and the difference is clear. Laughable that raw milk is illegal in some states but cigarettes and alcohol aren’t. You know, for health.

I grew up drinking raw milk as you call it. We just called it "Cows Milk" on the farm. We lived in Rural Mississippi, and one of my daily chores was milking the cow twice a day, and we sifted it through cheesecloth doubled up again and again to catch any foreign matter as we poured it up in gallon jars. About 1/3 or more was fat. You had to shake it to mix it. We drank it every day, and I loved it. We sold it to neighbors and family. i've always thought it was stupid to outlaw that. This Nation has in many types of foods, moved us away from self sufficiency, and towards being reliant on large corporate farms. The rich then hold you hostage just as a drug dealer does his customers.

When I turned 63 last year I went full on keto/carnivore and it has been life changing to say the least. Up to that point I could not tolerate too much dairy other than butter and hard cheese. Now with a healthier gut I can eat any type of dairy and have raw milk kefir smoothies every day. I can't believe how tasty raw milk products are!

I love the flavor of ground beef and cheese and i have eaten dairy my whole life so I do not have probs with it. Here is a plug for diary. I split my knee open and it got infected. Wound was to the bone and had surgery was almost a week after the injury. I had to have it surgically debrided to keep the infection from going into the joint. Sent home on oral antibiotics and a three inch wound with one stitch to keep it closed to let it heal inside out as they say. This was before I was carnivore but was dirty keto. I bought protein added lactose free whole milk. I was 52 years old. My surgeon was stunned at how well I healed. I have a scar but not terrible considering that there was only one stitch to hold the skin together. The milk came in 52 oz bottles and I drank half a bottle a day for the 5 weeks I was off work to heal. I contribute my excellent healing to this dairy product.

I was drinking dairy. Living with my great aunt she only wanted to drink 1 % milk, which I drank it as well. I grew up with whole milk. I also had sinus issues and they were bad at times. Sometimes the sinus headaches were really bad in my face and eyes. I stopped drinking milk, and stopped eating ice cream and my sinus problems went away. I calculated yesterday that I am about 2 1/2 years into carnivore. I know I started low carb in 2019 and then plateaued and went and found Dr Berry and started eating meat and liver and my body bounced back. I gained some muscle eating meat. Just like Kelly Hogan said she has a sticker on her van that says eat meat and save humans. I need to get one of those and put it on my car. I can go into the store and shop and out the door in no time flat with carnivore. Where when I was on sad diet it would take forever to shop. I am so glad I have gotten all the bad stuff out of my body. 150 days NO coffee or caffeine. I was so addicted to coffee that now I have more energy than when I was drinking it. The only dairy that I consume is butter.

My father worked at a dairy, so I drank 4l.... a gallon of milk a day between ages 8 and 14. So much so my doctor told my parents to stop giving me milk (I was the fatty at school). I still love my cheese but have eliminated it for the last 4 months. I have gone from 80kg ( I guess175lbs) to 65kg(144lbs) since 1st May 2023, without a diet, just changing my food and bar for cheese eliminating dairy, but cheese is a treat, not everyday now. As a 53yr old next week, 52 for now, I am actually proud. Had a 25yr old guy into body building who carbo loads compliment me and ask me how I did it and as soon as I said I am carnivoure he ran.Between Dr Baker and Dr Chaffee, they have changed my life for the better! I quit dairy about 10 years ago because of sinus issues. They cleared up nicely, so I assume I have an allergy to casein protein. About a year ago, I was looking for ways to incorporate more nutrient-dense foods and I tried some raw milk. Despite that it was delicious, I found out what lactose intolerance was all about! A few months and some more research later, I figured out I can eat fully fermented, aged cheeses (i.e., cheddar aged 24 months). Been doing that regularly and still no symptoms consistent with casein allergy. Best regards, Dr Baker

I couldn’t take dairy for about six years and i have been able to take it again after four months of carnivore. I think it’s like a signal of health. People on a standard diet are pounding their intestines with junk and carbs all the time which inflames the bowels. When we switch to carnivore or at least animal based it starts getting better at digesting fats and dairy. That’s my opinion

I’m 5’6” 110 lbs. Carnivore (sugar free) for 57 days now. Started incorporating dairy around day 30 because of the fat to attempt some additional pounds…well, it added very few, like 3! I started with Whole Milk Keifer- made a world of difference with my digestive system and regularity. I then incorporated hard cheeses that are high fat Brie Gouda Aged Cheddar some Italian cheeses. In addition to Cabot’s 10% fat whole milk Greek yogurt. Everything plain no sugar other than the lactose. I notice sometimes without keifer but eating others I can have a little skin breakout. Keifer is key, your gut needs the help! Also adding fructoogliosacharrides is great food for your gut bugs if you’re having issues there. Do your research, support your body so you can stay the course- this way of life is worth it.

I come from Estonia, with a strong dairy consumption culture. Generally speaking I've never had issues with dairy when consuming it in moderation, although I've noticed a correlation with higher consumption ( 1 liter per day) and emergence of pimples. I also suffer from chronic canker sores and those show up more often when I've increased my milk consumption. Recently I have started making my own kefir and drink it every day - that hasn't shown any adverse affects as far as I can tell. Paradoxically I find pasteurized milk makes for better kefir than raw ( raw milk is legal and easy to find in stores here.)

Second video today that has made mention of declining milk consumption and increased cheese consumption. My take on this, is back in the mid-late 70's when I was a school (in New Zealand) most people I knew would choose a milkshake at a convenience store as opposed to a soda. Can't remember the last time I saw a kid drinking a milkshake - it's all soda or energy drinks. I think the rise in cheese consumption is proportionate to the rise in fast food where cheese is ever present. Think cheese in burgers, pizza, Mexican food and other takeaway/convenience items. Cheese will often be demonized for making people fat. What's not taken into consideration is that it's nearly always consumed with high levels of carbohydrate.

Yep. Many people I know. My daughter did not do well with milk from a local farm (NOT raw) or a store (grass fed/organic) but I usually got it at the farm; and when we switched it was magic. Literally overnight. Not a doubt in my mind there is a huge difference. I know a few people who literally just can't have any dairy but raw dairy is surely different from processed milk.

Though I sneak in some carbs here and there. And I may get gas sometimes but it's not a big deal, that's if I consume too much of it. Other than that the meat-eating is working like a charm. I’ve been lactose-intolerant for 25 years, but I can handle small amounts, choose lower-lactose/lactose-free options, or even just add lactase drops myself. However, in the last few years I’ve noticed it’s also causing occasional bleeding in both my nose and gut. I’m presuming I’ve developed an allergy. I find dairy very enjoyable but also very addictive. And as much as I know I need to cut it out, I do struggle. But I think I am making progress towards achieving that as each day passes.

The vitamins K & U will help with the lcotting process. Drink raw milk at a room temp slowly once per minute. eventually add raw eggs & raw honey to that.

I could give up dairy again if there was clear evidence that it would help to give it up. It didn’t seem to matter that I gave it up for several years. If anyone out there has any new research that would help, please send it my way.

Medical fraudsters convinced you you have hashimoto's. You'd have to check your thyroid via iridology to see how much contamination is in your glands. REgular milk is crap for your body. Only raw milk can help moisturize & heal your body from a lifetime of attack via vaccines, environmental pollution & processed(cooked) foods. Try getting raw thyroid glands....you can't cuz the FDA knows it is healthful.

If I ever had issues with constipation, I ate cottage cheese. Keto caused severe constipation and no longer lactose intolerant. Lost a lot of weight but the side effect lead me to carnivore. Refused to live on Miralax rest of my life Constipation seems to be gone now. Took 6 months. I can do some hard cheese but it's addicting so I limit it to an occasion. From an bio/ evolutionary standpoint, in the same way as peoples genetics changed in the northern hemisphere by skin colour becoming lighter to enable them to absorb vitamin d3 sufficiently ( the sun being weaker in northern countries) ..perhaps a genetic change mainly occurred in northern countries to allow humans to drink and eat dairy into adulthood,, not just for bone strength, but also vitamin d . I think in many Middle Eastern counties and India, where milk is not easily tolerated, they eat a lot of natural bio yoghurts.

If I could consume dairy, along with eating Carnivore, my life would be complete. Unfortunately, I am NOT one who can consume dairy, nor can any of my three children. Eliminating dairy was the last food we found to turn off a gene for Reactive Arthritis (HLA B27) that son#2 has. His transformation was amazing, from eliminating ALL his pain in 45 days, to allowing the weight to just fall off. He lost 130lbs over two years. Before eliminating dairy, he was road biking 20, 30, 40 miles...and the weight wouldn't budge. We even tried a personal trainer for a year who worked with joint issues. I eliminated dairy two weeks after he did, lost a dress size in 30 days, then 2 more dress sizes over the next few months...doing NOTHING different, except eliminating dairy. We had been eating a Paleo diet, after we found that same son is Celiac. For me, ANY kind of dairy will put weight on my faster than I can blink. We've tried raw goat and raw cow dairy. Just the beginning of this year I had tried consuming goat cheese again. Well, that lasted until I realized I had gained 8lbs. Ditched the goat cheese...within 30 days the weight just dropped off. NO thank you! I'll just stick to my Carnivore without the dairy. I'm 68, went Carnivore at 65...and have never looked back!

Dairy is a wonderful source of calories! I've always been extremely lean my whole life, struggling to put on weight, extremely low blood pressure, frequently cold and lethargic. High fat red meat centric carnivore helped me a little bit closing in on a comfortably healthy body weight. If it wasn't for dairy I would probably still be looking sickly slim. But now I consume copious amounts of butter, make my own heavy cream kefir and drink milk before bed, and I've never looked so healthy! There's no sign of inflammation anywhere, I feel much more energetic and warmer, and just look more "full". I'm part Scandinavian heritage, so this probably has a lot to do with it! I definitely feel like I tolerate dairy better still than I did on an omnivorous diet. I recall having terrible gut issues with milk and bread, oats and coffee. On a very low carb high fat animal based diet all those conflicts went away. I'm more than happy consuming dairy, A1 or A2, raw or not. But I do worry some, because I hear dairy is associated with *hair loss* (yikes!), and I have yet to hear anyone refute or at least explain this mechanistically. Supposedly it is connected to inflammation, but I can't say that is something I experience personally. But I'm not willing to sacrifice my hair if that is something that can be exacerbated over time or in the long run! Thanks, doc! You're a life saver!♥️

For me, a 'serving' of cheese is an entire pack, typically 350g. A few days ago I bought a 500g pack of Cheddar of which I soon downed 400g in one sitting; early the next morning I polished the rest off. Yes, seriously. I'm carbohydrate intolerant so I don't do yoghurt or kefir. Fortunately here in the UK, cheeses made from unpasteurised milk are available and I always go for these when in stock. Failing that, I always aim for organic. I'd certainly agree that cheese is addictive, though it's possible that it's the salt in it that I'm actually craving (when I first went low carb, two successive blood tests showed me to be low in sodium).

I started carnivore 3 months ago not being able to tolerate any dairy including ghee. It made me extremely bloated and gassy and just feeling gross. I just recently tried to add ghee and it was very strange I became horribly depressed for 3 days. after i stopped the ghee the depression went away. a few days ago I added raw cows milk, raw butter, and raw cow kefir and wow not only did I feel amazing I had no bloating or gas. Its very strange how ghee made me feel terrible but the raw dairy works. I am so excited to have butter in my life now tallow was getting a little old!

Per usual he is spot on. I cut out dairy over a year ago and have been able to dial in my physique in such a great way. Note I still use ghee and a touch of organic half and half for coffee. Overall happier and healthier, but wary of the seed oil and grain milk movement.

I was exposed to a lot of anti dairy propaganda several years ago. Not long afterwards, I developed a dairy sensitivity and whenever I had it it made my skin break out, gave me brain fog and made me feel very lethargic. But after I switched my mindset towards dairy and no longer viewed it as a threat, I could tolerate it just fine and I can have as much as I want and feel great now! Same thing for other foods too! I still eat mostly meat but I can have other foods with no issues now as long as I don't view the foods as threats! I'm inclined to think that most or at least many food sensitivities/allergies have psychological roots. At least that's been my experience! I overcame all my allergies and sensitivities using this same change in mindset so I figured I should let people know and maybe you'll have the same experience as I've had. It's sooooo much better having the option to eat other foods from time to time without running into issues! Anyways, I hope this helps someone out there!

I am glad pasteurization and raw milk was talked about! Most just think dairy is dairy and therefore, dairy issues are dairy issues. Check my points to clarify some things on milk: 1 - Pasteurization and homogenization kill all probiotics and healthy bacteria including immunoglobulins. Raw milk has probiotics like yogurt among much that is missing from yogurt (especially sugary yogurt) 2 - Due to bad factory farm practices, mainstream milk cannot be raw and many laws have been put in place in most states to outlaw healthy grass-fed raw milk as well (all raw milk) 3 - So glad you mentioned A1 vs A2. 99.5% of all milk has A1 protein (the steak sauce is named after this) which is mutagenic and causes lactose intolerance over time, faster in some people - A2 milk can be found nowadays in Jewel-Osco and certain markets as well as most 3rd world countries and India have tons of A2 milk from all sorts of animals 4 - Eating dairy with citris/sour fruits and with salty foods causes digestive issues. Milk is digested with a weaker stomach acid and consuming milk with a meal can cause milk to curdle due to the higher acidic content of stomach acid, while consuming it with sours will also cause curdling within the stomach. That passes through your whole system and can bloat you, hence inflammation. 5 - Ghee exists! Thanks for touching on ghee and butter! Everyone should try that in their coffee rather than milk or cream. Great for keto, fasting, and real energy from the coffee. Milk binds to some of the chemicals in the coffee taking away much of its metabolic effects (need citation for this)

When I was a kid, we had amazing raw milk delivered to our home all the time. I guzzled it. I drank more than anyone in my family and grew to be 6'8" tall. I think there is a correlation. I am on the carnivore diet now and drink about 3 glasses of milk a day - I'm going to start drinking only 1 glass a day and see what happens.

@@DreamyLofiBeats283 Seems like you should have no problem making it to 5'11" or even taller. I am of the thought that lactose intolerance is a vaccine sideffect. No one on either side of my family has it, and my symptoms got exponentially worse after i had some vax "update" in college about 10 years ago.

I’ve been lactose-intolerant since at least 16 years old. I ate _ a lot_ of wheat in my childhood (probably more than 95% of children), and I suffer with a lot of gut issues now. My suspicion is that the wheat is the underlying cause of all my gut issues. If this is the case, then what I don’t know is whether it’s the modern practice of growing wheat (no time for proper fermentation), the gluten, or the excess amount of pesticides I would’ve been consuming. I finally discovered I’m also gluten-intolerant four years ago.

lactose tolerance is a very recent gene adaptation that's been around for maybe 10% or less of human history. lactose intolerance after weaning is the norm for human beings. it is simply expression of the lac operon gene sequence, any gap in milk consumption or change in gut flora can increase intolerance as you stop expressing lac in new cells. A vaccine is just an inert template your body uses to recognize a specific virus "code" and is not related. Bacteria, pesticides, industrial runoff and a million other things you ingest will mess up your immune system before a vaccine.

@@mddperkins I'm no scientist but I believe it's the glyphosate messing with our gut biome, thus causing gluten intolerances. I've heard from some people that they can eat wheat in foreign countries without issue, but north American wheat is unbearable. I haven't personally experienced this so I can't say it's true 100% but might be worth you looking deeper into the theory. Hope this helps

@@philanders3705 There's definitely a dramatic difference between the wheat in Europe and here. I've heard many people reporting the same thing you've said here. The glyphosate is certainly messing us up big time.
