It used to happen back in the day(shortly after he joined) when idiots went against Wolverine. That would have been in early to mid-80s. I think there's an issue where they fought some Hellfire goons who thought X-Men were jokes because they held back only to go "oh shi.." when a feral Wolverine starts slashing them.

@@ZeeB...he has always helped mutants it’s just the writers like to keep other heroes out of X-men stories but for some reason when a another hero from franchise shows up the x-men are like we’re have you been when this and this happened I would have dead pool come out and say because the writers didn’t want him in those stories but also want to blame him for the stories the writers didn’t want him in for some weird reason.

That's funny how we expect one mutant to be the hero of the day, then right when and where we expect it, anoter mutant ends up being that savior and not only saving mutantkind, but the earth altogether! This angle reminds me of the animated Transformers movie, Otimus Prime dies, then at first we all thought Ultra Magnus is now the new leader, that was until Galvitron blew him to pieces, then we wondered how were the autobots going to deal with the decepticons and now Unicron! None of us expected Hot Rod to get his hands on the matrix and become Rodimus Prime, then destroyed Unicron all at once bring home the big W for the autobots and eventually Cybertron,Earth and the universe! Now we're all expecting Jean or Hope, or the professor to be the hero of the hour, but wouldn't it shock us if Rogue was the one, yes because even though she has been a x-men for a long time, she was always in the background as a pawn on the chessboard. Even Storm was thought to be the savior, but her hands are tied, so in a unexpected way it looks like Orchis is going to destroy the world, oh and I believe Orchis is going to recruit Gambit offering him some piece of paradise, turning Gambit into one of the bad guys! It is fact that Gambit being a thief will not turn down a chance to be rich! Now if premonition is true, I see a repeat Rodimus Prime skit. Rogue somehow exposes Orchis' plan for world domination, uses her power this time not to absorb, but flight speed and tactical moves and pull a Batmanlike contengency move, then end the reign of Orchis single handedly, becoming the savior of the day, I actually saw this in a premonition back in 1981 when Rogue was a new character in Marvel! It's starting to happen, I already knew it then, wait'll til she pull's this off, then suddenly everone jumps on the Rogue bandwagon! When Marvel Comics do a print copy as well as a digital copy of the Marvel Comics oscars and they nominate the all time achievement for Marvel's greatest female character since Marvel's inception and Rogue wins that award, I wanted to tell all comics fans I already knew, but because people tell you you're crazy because of a dream followed by a premonition you experienced, I kept it to myself as to not get dissed, but then all will be surprized! That was mainly Ultimates version. Mainstream Kate goes intangible by sliding her molecules between the spaces of the molecules of other objects. I say "was mainly Ultimates" because the more recent X-Men/FF miniseries. Doom influenced Kate and controlled her density: "If you can become lighter than air, why not heavier than stone?" with that Kate became so heavy that she fell through the floor.
