🌎 Question of the Day: What can you do to save and protect the environment? What can you do to reduce your carbon footprint?👣 My answer: We don't have car so we usually take public transit or walk. I could do a better job of using less plastic and also remembering to turn lights off when I leave a room as that wastes energy. How about you?

Today I would like to talk about environment. For examples : I need English speaking environment that's why I'm here. Natural environment is God gifted environment. English speaking environment is man made environment. Now a days environment is very polluted. Polluted environment is harmful for human health and other living organisms. People need pollution free environment. I live in India New Delhi. New Delhi is a capital of India and Delhi is very polluted city in India. We have to save our environment. We have to protect our environment.

a small steps are also very important, but we shouldn't say never mind, I won't recycle now, because I don't have enough time or I'm the only person who does that so I also don't need... Ilove to ride a bike, so it isn't hard for me, I used to it, on that way, I don't make air pollution, but also enjoying in air quality which here in Craotia is really rich. I can save energy and water, so I don't use unrationally. WE CAN DO SO MANY THINGS AND WE NEED TO BECOME AWARE OF IT!

Sabrina Sabi Wow. Thanks ever so much! Thrilled to bits to see that. Did you know?😇 The Japanese have been producing wood for 700 years without cutting down trees. In the 14th century, the extraordinary daisugi technique was born in Japan. Indeed, the daisugi provide that these trees will be planted for future generations and not be cut down but pruned as if they were giant bonsai trees; by applying this technique to cedars, the wood that can be obtained is uniform, straight and without knots, practically perfect for construction. A pruning as a rule of art that allows the tree to grow and germinate while using its wood, without ever cutting it down. Extraordinary technique. ''.

I really enjoyed this lesson, the info and vocab are really useful. I think pollution is the biggest issue in modern life because the human always depends on using pollutant every day perhaps every moment so I think is the impossible treatment of all pollution however we can decrease it to the lowest possible level by reducing using the pollutant. Otherwise, the earth will be poor from clean major resources for human life, and we will not find other planets that fit our life likely and if being finding It is very unlikely we can move to it because that will cost a huge.

1- I switched my normal bulbs to saving-energy light bulbs. 2- Always I try to turn off my electrical items when I'm not using them. 3- I take a walk instead of using the car for short distance.

My car is Dual-flue gasoline + CNG(Compressed Natural Gas) I rather to use CNG not just it is cheaper in price also because CNG make 60% less air pollution.

Hello from South of Brazil, ! thanks very much to give us this wonderfull expanation... I have a vegetable garden for almost 10 years... it means that i agree with every single word you Said! If you want to come to Brazil: we can change home,..I Will move to Canadá next year. Any Idea the best place to live in your Country with kids?

Hello Alice! 🇨🇦🇧🇷 Thanks for your lovely comment. ☺️ That's awesome that you have your own vegetable garden! 🥕 It is also great to hear that you will come to Canada next year. ✨ I live in Toronto and I love this city, but I recommend that you don't choose to live in a big city like Toronto because it's more expensive and very difficult to have your own garden 🍅. I can't speak for all of Canada, since I've only spent significant time in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, however smaller cities in south-western Ontario just outside of the GTA often have great communities and lots of events etc for families. 👍🏻 How old are your kids?🌸

@@JeNsJyugyou hello ! thank you to answered me ! My kids are 4 and 6 years old. I was looking to study in a college in London or in Berrie too. I know that it Will be not easy to find fresh vegetables in winter season. And in summer time in Canada i Will be in Europe or Brazil. I really appreciate if you could tell me more about London and Berrie. Thanks again for your time.

Jen, than you so much for this lesson! I'm not Japanese, though I have a little of their blood in my veins hehe. Could I ask you an English question not related to the environment topic? It's just that I heard you saying sometimes "on the news", and other times "in the news"... What's the difference? Alas, prepositions...
@JeNsJyugyou
@JeNsJyugyou 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Paula ☺️. Thank you for your nice comment and question. Yes, prepositions can be very confusing 😅. Both 'in the news' and 'on the news' are correct in English. 'On the news' implies that the news was broadcast either on TV or on the radio. 'In the news' is more general. 'In the news' could be through TV or radio, but also covers newspapers or online forms of news. I hope that helps 🤗. Also, I've made a lesson about prepositions of place which you might find helpful: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gJZgrbSZ3MzQo40.html 😎
