I look at the Myth Drannor DLC and we talk about Frequently Asked Questions and I give my opinions on things. I've played DDO since Turbine's closed beta in 2005, and have been on Sarlona server playing my main Mary (Poppins, though I dropped the Poppins bc its a trademarked name).
Pre-orders for the Myth Drannor expansion began last week for the basic, collector, and ultimate DLC with some of the pack contents available immediately if you purchase now.
I got the Ultimate version and we look at what you get - the expansion quests go live July 31, but the new Eladrin species, Iconic, cosmetics, mounts, pets, and archetype are all available immediately. Watch to the end for a surprise!

I’m so glad I found this channel. I’m a fan of Tolkien also and I’m finishing up a savor run through Lord of the Rings over the past year. I basically read slowly and contemplate the meaning and scenes as I go along. It’s really especially fun to see how D&D got a lot of its feel and spirit from Tolkien. It’s so nice DDO is bringing in these more traditionally campaign settings. Looking forward to this new expansion. It really is worth every penny to get the ultimate bundle. I loved running with the Druid. She lasted through mid Epics with the boosted stats.

That's really cool - Tolkien is my favorite writer, I've read his books a lot. I read the Hobbit often, and love the Lord of the Rings and Silmarillion. As a result of reading them since I was a very young child, they have influenced my creative processes; I have 10 books on amazon, most are fantasy sci fi similar to Rod Serling's 1959 Twilight Zone, but some of the narrative construction and storytelling clearly was influenced by Tolkien. Just the way he approached nature as a bastion of beauty, not something to be conquered but inhabited, which we see in various levels - the Elves and Ents being part of nature itself, the Hobbits blending in, Humans either growing with or destroying, orcs and trolls and goblins as destructive forces that upheave the natural world. Even the music I wrote on my Secondary World album bears Tolkien's influence, as we see in my song refrencing a standing stone similar to the ones in the Barrow Downs.

If you are sorc you just need a +0 heart of wood to change to wild mage. At lvl 1 after you lr you select which type of sorc you want to play or sorc or wild mage

Hey thanks for the confirmation - I plan to make a video documenting this process; I have seen it often on Hardcore and plan to do it when I reincarnate this life to grab my iconic and archetype past lives.

If I heard you right, you said that sorcerer is the past life for chaosmancer. This is incorrect. Wild mage is the past life for this iconic. You don't have to be spending a heart of wood or anything else. It is the only iconic that I'm aware of that has an archetype past life
