Jimmy Uso was always second-fiddle to Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa. Jey Uso Vs. Roman Reigns could main event a SummerSlam, but Jimmy Vs. Roman couldn’t. Jimmy isn’t viewed as a credible contender. He never believed he was equal to either of his brothers. To quote Roman Reigns, “you can’t be the Tribal Chief and a twin at the same time”. Jimmy feels like he’s just a “twin” to Jey. Whenever Jimmy was injured, Jey stepped up to fulfill his destiny as the successor to the throne. Jimmy thought he was never destined to be anything but a follower. Jimmy’s character boils down to two words: “Nobody’s bitch.” WWE literally printed out a shirt saying it. He doesn’t want to be a bitch by being a follower to his brother anymore. He superkicked Roman because he didn’t want to be a bitch by tolerating Roman’s disrespect. He superkicked Solo because he didn’t want to be a bitch by being compassionate towards Solo. He didn’t EVEN hesitate to superkick on Sami because he didn’t want to be a bitch by choosing him over family. He was gonna get in Roman’s face on SmackDown 05/12 before Jey stopped him and apologized. Jimmy’s character is about wanting to feel acknowledged when in reality, all he’s doing is acknowledging others. He’s had enough, that’s why he resorted to selfishness. He felt it was the only opportunity to be acknowledged.

I think Roman should only rely on the Bloodline whenever he’s unconfident he can beat his opponent clean: I don’t think he needed help against Kevin Owens, Matt Riddle, or Sami Zayn. But, competitors like Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, or Drew McIntyre makes sense because it sets up rematches for the future where he’ll be forced to beat him clean.

People are tryna defend Jimmy turning on Jey. But honestly wtf was the point of Clash at the Castle and MITB. "Oh Jimmy is jealous" but he doesn't want to be Tribal Chief and Jey kept saying he gotta get Roman for Jimmy. It's very stupid and contrived.

The ending of summerslam makes smackdown on Friday night a whole lot more interesting can't wait to see what happens Next summerslam was an awesome PPV on Saturday.

“They could have ran this exact same storyline without the championship” I’ve been thinking all of this since Wrestlemania 😂😂 Personally, while I am not a fan of the Jimmy betrayal and also didn’t see it coming, I still somehow expected Roman to win. Which is the problem I have with this storyline, I have a hard time believing Roman is losing his title anywhere but at ‘Mania.

That ending was extremely conflicting. When I saw it live, I was very disappointed and very negative, as everything from Night of Champions all the way till SummerSlam, was for nothing. I know it’ll mostly be a jealousy type of story, but I do agree that it seems lazy, and feels very forced, simply for ratings and that. I hope they’re able to bounce back, but for now, I’m doubtful for this storyline, and I really hate saying that. Here’s to GOD, the ending for this storyline isn’t mediocre🙏.

considering the Roman and jey feud to become tribal chief was the catalyst for the bloodline storyline, it would have been poetic if jey dethroned roman at summerslam and it definitely wouldn’t have been a bad ending since a lot of people were on jeys side. Thus, at least for me, the twist with jimmy turning on jey felt so forced and honestly kinda corny. It’s just so predictable because what other possible beef could jimmy have with jey other than the fact that they’re twins and jey is more over. Not only that, the match in general wasn’t even that good and it was so fucking long for no reason. Everything from the entrances to Roman’s after-match celebration added an additional hour to the already 3 and a half hour long show

It makes as much sense as Vince McMahon being revealed as the Higher Power of the Corporate Ministry. In other words, it doesn't.

The ending of summer slam did leave a bad taste in my mouth a bit but got over it quick cause for some reason every time we think wwe messed up the story it progressively gets better n better

Here's the thing everyone missed: On the SmackDown of Jey fully turning on Roman, Roman talked about how Jimmy was jealous of Jey's success and how Jimmy was the only one who had a problem with Jey being the right hand man, and Jimmy said it was true, but Jey just saw it as Roman trying to gaslight him. While Roman may have been gaslighting him, it doesn't mean he was lying. Everyone forgot that part, including me, so when Jimmy turned on Jey, it wasn't for no reason, it was right in front of us the entire time, we just chose to ignore it. Jimmy vs Jey will definitely be good, same with a possible Roman vs Solo match, and if the WWE does it at Survivor Series, a Fatal-4-Way between Jimmy, Jey, Solo, and Roman for the WWE Championship

I understand the want of Jimmy vs Jey at a Wrestlemania event from both sides (fans and The Usos themselves), but couldn't they have just waited until after Roman dropped the title? There is definitely enough there that a rivalry between the two could easily stand as its own story. Pulling the trigger on it now just seems like a needlessly tact on subplot that may or may not matter when the story is done, er go, hurting what could have been a legendary feud on its own.

At this moment, I just feel like the plot point is going to be “everyone wants to be the Tribal Chief” where Jey, Jimmy and eventually Solo will want their cracks at Roman. But it feels like the title has taken the backseat at this point. They mainly did the Cody loss just to have the 1000 day stat (when it would’ve been more interesting if he lost and didn’t reach 1K days. Think sports teams where they don’t reach the big stat after dominating) and it booked them in the corner of “who should actually beat him to cap off the entire adventure?” It’ll likely be Cody/Roman II as a revenge tour but they had their chance with that to end it off but didn’t pull the trigger. UPDATE: So with the way the story is going from the SmackDown! after, it's turning into "no one wants to become the Tribal Chief" because it will turn you into an evil and detestable individual. The whole "With great power comes great responsibility" thing and Roman hasn't been responsible with his power. Jimmy cost Jey the title to avoid him turning into another Roman.

The part that I REALLY HATED about this match it’s basically a 3 v 1 handicap match for the undisputed title except the other 2 superstars come in much later and solo sikoa should not have played that big of a role for 1/3 of this match it’s a 1 v 2 and the fact that jey still defeated Roman and solo gave us hope but then jimmy comes in a turns on his brother when there was NO BUILD WHAT SO EVER the thing that should have happened was jey wins the title and then you that build of jimmy getting jealous which leads to someone else challenging for the title and that’s when jimmy should turn on him it would be even better if that someone was solo who was challenging for the belt

I loved the idea of Solo slowly turning against Roman, and I feel like that would've been a much better story than Jimmy randomly turning on Jey. I wanted to see Solo slowly start to distrust Roman as a strong tribal chief, seeing how he always needs interference or low blows to win his matches. Then, either on his own or by the Usos, he decides that he or one of his brothers would be a better tribal chief and they dethrone Roman together. I think Solo as tribal chief would be cool and would help his character and help him as a singles competitor after the storyline ends. I could see Jey taking the championship for a little bit, but honestly, I don't think the Usos need it.

The only thing I can think of after digesting it for the last few days is they didn’t want to take the title off Roman, but didn’t want it to be clean because it would kill Jey and his credibility. And with that, they rushed a story that didn’t need to be told at this moment in time.

The only scenario I think that can work is Jimmy turned on Jey to stop him from becoming the tribal chief, since Jimmy had previously called himself the tribal chief and thinks he’s the only one worthy of dethroning Roman. I’d say the way to go as far as a blowoff would be a 4 way between all Bloodline members at Survivor series. After that though, the bloodline story has to end and it’s downfall can be the catalyst for Roman losing the title at Mania.

If Jimmy betrayed his brother, what makes you think ima trust my girl…

I've been a bloodline fan and have been enjoying the twists and turns....but i gotta say they're pushing it. The tribal combat stipulation didn't make much sense since there was interference anyway and the Jimmy betrayal just feels like a way to artificially inflate Roman's title reign. Like they could do something interesting and have Jimmy go rogue and just did this out of envy but if he were to team back back up with Roman it would make no sense whatsoever. But yeah i understand people souring on the bloodline after this.

I’m surprised because I thought maybe they were gonna savour this heel turn for Jimmy USO for a later stage But no, they decided to do a Matt Hardy heel turn And turn on his own brother Jey Uso Just like how Matt Hardy did that to Jeff Hardy many years ago And here’s a few ideas that could happen for this bloodline storyline: 1. Jimmy and Jey Uso are gonna probably headline pay per view matches against each other till Wrestlemania 40 2. Solo Sikoa will start to feel some sort of way on Roman after he was speared at Summer Slam, saying why did you attack me huh? Why didn’t you protect your fresh and blood Roman? It’s gonna definitely going to slowly build Solo into this animal unleashed like Batista was many years ago against Triple H. 3. Jimmy, Jey or Solo will have potential title matches against Roman in the future Because the Bloodline is now looking uncertain Now that Jimmy turned on Jey It’s going to now be on Solo Where does his future lie next And where does the Uso brothers future lies also

I can honestly say that I don’t think there’s anyway the WWE can keep this going until WM40. Cody should’ve won at WM39 and I’ll never let that go.

I didn’t pay much attention to this match because I knew Solo was going to get involved. It happens almost every match Since Solo debuted back at Clash at the Castle. The twitter TL was full of people more uninterested/confused with the ending than shocked. Creative has got to be careful going forward with this storyline like you said!

This plot twist definitely felt a bit contrived, but I can kind of see why they did it. Jimmy isn't the one to dethrone roman reigns, so they need a way for him to exit the storyline leaving only Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa in the bloodline. It's also hard to come up with a good feud/storyline for Jimmy and Jay after they exit the bloodline, so they probably saw a "Kill 2 birds with 1 stone" situation and put them in a storyline against each other with both of them out of the bloodline.

They foreshadowed this twist for 3 months. Roman told Jey that Jimmy didnt want him to be tribal chief. He and Paul Heyman both told Jey that Jimmy was jealous of Jey. Jimmy didnt care about Roman or Solo at all, he didnt wanna be left behind by his younger twin. This whole twist started the night Jimmy proclaimed himself the tribal chief. The WWE telegraphed this ending on that night and it was the plan all along.

I personally think that WWE should have solo turn on roman and have the bloodline all feud until wrestlmania 40 which would lead to a fatal 4 way in which solo wins because they have been hinting at him being the tribal chief and the new champ

From the start of this storyline, I was never a fan to see Jimmy separated from Jey. The singles run that Jey had in 2020 was very good, only because his brotherJimmy was out with injury. Lol I never liked the idea of Main Event Jey Uso because I always felt it took away from the great tag team of the Usos. The Usos are the GOATs in tag team wrestling for a reason. The ONLY way I can see them somehow separated would be for them to go 1 on 1 with each other...perhaps at WM? I know damn well that that's gonna be a GREAT match.

I think we’re a little bit burnt out on everything on smackdown and ppvs being pretty much revolved around the bloodline, we want a new interesting story or something else to lead the ppvs.

Thank god Roman beat Cody, otherwise we wouldn't have got this masterpiece.

Back at Wrestlemania I felt the same way you feel about the play out of the bloodline storyline. But after watching Cody Rhodes’s documentary on peacock, I understand why he lost At Wrestlemania 39 “Hollywood”. I was also curious as to how are they going to stretch out the bloodline storyline for 9 months, but after the ending of the Jey vs Roman match i see where Triple H is going with this. I wasn’t a huge fan of longterm storytelling but after all of this I understand and it makes complete sense.

The writing was on the wall that Jimmy was gone turn on Jey when Roman told Jey soon as Jimmy got hurt he asked for a championship match .. The only thing I would have changed about that match is Solo coming out helping Roman

The only way this story line works, the ONLY. WAY, is if Jimmy is going into business for himself. If this is a way for him to get back into the bloodline, that would make NOOO SEEEENSE, and then I would say that the story line has officially jumped the shark.

See the more I think about it the more it makes sense to me because to me Jimmy wanted Jay to be Jay and not a new Roman. He saw how the crown corrupted Roman and how now Jay is replacing Roman as the chief, and he didn't want to lose Jay like he did his cousin Roman. That combined with a bit of built up jealousy, led to that betrayal.

What if jimmy did if because his family was held hostage and was also offered a seat at the table now that the tag team championship (both are injured) will have a chance to be vacant. Paul Heyman informed Jimmy that if Jey wins, his family will be exiled from the tribe. Jey will be a tribal chief of a tribe of his own. Paul also made Jimmy realize that Jimmy is only good if he is in a tag team with Jey and will probably be a jobber if Jey become solo.

I think the reason is jimmy didn’t betray jey because the uso were fighting in their honor but during the summerslam feud jimmy probably thinks that jey was being selfish and fight for himself so can become champ nd tribal chief plus during the jey didn’t mention or make an update on jimmy status

I don’t really understand the idea this was a lazy heel turn, they have been planting the seeds of jimmy not wanting Joey ahead of him for years, they even go as far to have him admit he was against Jey being the right hand man and that was never reconciled, so why would him stopping Jey from being tribal chief be lazy. At this point it shouldn’t have been a surprise they literally tell you multiple times about how jimmy feels about Jey being higher up than him.

I think the Jimmy VS Jey story will be great. Jimmy coming back to the bloodline because he thinks only Roman is capable of bear the weight and responsibility that comes with being the tribal chief, that there's no one else that could handle that and that's why Jimmy betrayed Jey, because in his eyes, Jey is too much of a good person to be a tribal chief. Jey will be the other side of the coin, going againts his cousin and trying to make his brothers see the truth, that Roman is an egocentric narcissist who has gone completely crazy and only looks for his own good. I think this match will happen at Mania and maybe it's the Main Event of night one, and I'm cool with it.

I feel like you could do a jealous jimmy storyline like this. Jey beats Roman and becomes champ, then Jey brings Jimmy back and its all good, but Heyman starts chatting in Jimmys ear about how Jey shouldnt be tribal chief and convinces him it should be him in that position instead and they do their thing where they show little hints of jealousy and then have some betrayal cutscene at some PPV

They should give the US title to Jimmy, drag the rivalry with side quests for each member of the bloodline and finish the feud at WM between Rikishi's sons with the US Title on the line. Setting up Jey vs Roman 3 in 2024 after WM for the Tribal throne and the US Title.

i think jey and jimmy need to go at it at wrestlemania, jey goes over and solidifies himself as a singles wrestler leading up to wrestlemania, rhodes takes the belt, and there's cody's first fued with the belt

amen brother they should have given the title to cody, unlock the belt situation and given sapce to other main eventers And yes everything they did with the bloodline from wrestlemania they could have easily done it without the belt in the mix. maybe even better considering that until roman has the belt and it is not a wrestlemania match there is no way in hell they will make him lose and so all his match are a mix of run in interference or no contest
