Thank you for demystifying making tinctures ❤ . I imagine that your area is an absolute dream. I’m imagining my mom growing up out there in the 30’s. She said that her grandmother had property along the Oregon trail and that a train cut across it on one corner. Don’t know if that was true but it was something she used to say ❤

Speaking of side affects... When I was first learning herbalism I found a formula to help me sleep. The plants were valerian, hops, black cohosh and skullcap. I made it as tea and it should come as no surprise that it tasted wonderfully as shit. I was asleep in less than ten minutes but woke up an hour later feeling anxious. I was having an anxiety attack and I was fascinated by this side affect. I threw up (because of the black cohosh) but what caused my anxiety attack was still a mystery. A week later I experimented with each herb separately and noticed that skullcap caused my anxiety. Now as an experienced Herbalist I use skullcap sparingly and I use this story as a teaching lesson. I'm glad I could share this with you.

I am a Grandma in Texas and I sure wish you were my neighbor. I am mostly a hermit, although I love people, I enjoy my own alone time and the time I spend with family, and my plant and animal friends. I would however enjoy sharing and learning from you. I listen to your videos while I'm working in my house or creating my herbal remedies. Please never stop. I love your videos and watch them over and over! U are absolutely amazing and yes we are smart enough to take control of our own health and make our own healing herbals. It's really not that hard to listen to your body!

OMG April, when that Linden tree decides to bless you with flowers, your world will be filled with the most beautiful smell, I have personally ever smelled. I had one in my front yard. It didn't flower for about 8 years.. then I left the hose on one day. I couldn't believe what happened. Now I feel like I am kin. ... cheers

This was so amazing love your teachings so much. When COVID 19 came I was so scared I was going to order online what I needed as I needed it I ordered so many dried herbs because of my CLL cancer trying to keep my immune system up I have taken my white blood cells way down. Also with greens chard kale and whatever in my garden. Geez, I hope this is going to be ok better than nothing right (Dried herbs) I have planted many herbs here on my property also and I am gathering seed like mad. Why didn't I see you years ago on here I have shared on FB but no one seems to care sorry but people are so programmed to go to the doctor for any little thing. Not to say doctors don't have a place in our lives at times. 67 yrs old still going strong for the most part using herbs for health.
