As a watcher of three years and just a fellow human being, I want to say this: Honey, I am so, so sorry for what that woman is putting you through. She took advantage of you financially, emotionally, socially, and romantically. It was calculated and monstrous. I'm a fair chunk older than you and recently went through something similar, though not nearly to these extremes. Gaslighting is a nasty business; it is not a crime to be naive, but it is pure evil to take advantage of that naivete for control and personal gain. What she did and is doing is evil. It is NOT your fault, and I am so fucking proud of you for recognizing your worth and fighting back. Keep fighting, and keep doing what you love.

@@debfoxOh absolutely. I was thinking that once this is all through and all of the legal shit is settled he should really consider writing a book. We need more voices of male abuse survivors. There are far too many who can't talk about their experiences in fear of retaliation. Male abuse survivors and victims are often disregarded or further abused. It's a sad flaw of the modern movement, with far too many seeing women as the only ones who can be victim to abuse and manipulation. He would be a great inspiration to young boys and men who have or are facing similar challenges. Let's hope the legal system doesn't fail him like it has to so many others in his situation.

This comment is going to be buried but: - Please check into her possibly stealing your identity and opening credit cards or bank accounts you don’t know about. You may also want to apply for a new Social Security Number to make sure she doesn’t have access to your personal information any longer - Bankruptcy exists for a reason. It might be time to look into petitioning for bankruptcy and starting over financially. Please look into if this is a potentially way to escape this woman’s continued abuse and destruction of your life.

As a 26 year old, Blair’s apparent pattern of tricking brand new adults with with minimal financial experience, into contracts they don’t fully understand is incredibly gross. When I was in my early 20ies I certainly would not have been able to realize what she was doing. And I reckon most people wouldn’t at that age. Now that we know she’s used the same tactic at least twice, it’s hard to imagine that this isn’t an intentional move on her part. You’ll get through this OZ. Keep your head up.

Exactly. I’m 28 now and what I know about life and finances vs 20 is astounding and it’s horrifying that she took advantage of that. My jaw just about hit the floor when Oz mentioned the age difference because that adds an extra layer of predatory behaviour to this whole story.

The reason why she associates with young adults is because they are new to the adult world, they are way easier to manipulate, gaslight and control and they won't even know it until one day you wake up and realise you are being abused, and they just move onto the next victim. She is a vile, petty piece of evil and she doesn't deserve the success and wealth she has. I dont want oz to even go to court I would rather give my money so he can just pay blaire back and be free from her, court battles are always way more expensive and drawn out and it may cost more then what he owes, and he would still owe her the debt. I would rather he just pay her, and I hope she chokes on it.

Yeah, young adults (late teens to early twenties) simply don't have the life experience and resources to understand and resist when they're being manipulated like that. When I was in training for the Army, I discovered that there's a whole industry out there designed to take advantage of the immaturity and inexperience of recruits, who are typically in the 18-20 age range; and manipulate them into predatory financial deals, usually through high-pressure sales pushing them into extortionate payment plans. I was lucky that my dad was a salesman, and taught me how to spot and resist those kinds of tactics; but so many of my buddies didn't have that understanding, and got suckered into really bad deals. These businesses target young recruits specifically because they know that if and when the recruits get into financial trouble, the military will bail them out, so they don't have to worry about their victims defaulting on their loans/payment plans. What Blair is doing here is exactly the same thing, targeting inexperienced and emotionally vulnerable young men who are easily manipulated. She's just as much a predator as any of those other businesses; and worse, since she's clear as much a sexual and emotional predator as a financial one.

You’re half the reason I got through the pandemic sanely, and when u didn’t produce as much I was really bummed out. Now I’m pissed at that horrid being who calls herself human. I won’t pretend to know anything close to the hardship you must’ve been through in this situation, but what I do know is you’re stronger than most people I’ve ever known. If anyone tries to insult your character or your masculinity or any of that because of this, just know they could never know the strength this takes to not only survive something like this, but be willing to share it with the world despite the issues it may bring you. You are not a coward, you are not stirring up drama, and you are NOT a burden, and you are NOT worthless. You were abused, you were manipulated, you are a gift to everyone you interact with, and you’re worth thousands more than she ever was. I’m not a legal expert but one thing I do know is in divorce cases at least, lawyers can’t take on a client if their spouse already consulted with them, so maybe that’s applicable here, consult with the best lawyers you can, even if you don’t use their services, so maybe she won’t be able to use them. I hope you get the justice you deserve. I know this isn’t much, but I hope it helps. Take care of yourself, this too shall pass.

@@jenniferstewart9012there's a difference between "cause" or "leadup" and "fault" - it's good to recognize how you get into bad situations so you can avoid them next time, but that doesn't make it your fault that you're in an abusive/dangerous situation. The word "fault" in the context of what you said puts blame for the situation on the victim, rather than the person who intended to trap and hurt them. It's also discounting how deceptive and manipulative abusers are. You can seemingly do everything right and they can still manipulate you into situations where you are stuck financially/socially/emotionally. It is definitely possible to learn to see the red flags, but you can't blame yourself if you get sucked in. Abusers are REALLY good at doing that - it's how they get by.

Absolutely. I'll be making sure to wear all the purple I can find for thursday. My highschool is putting on a 5k for domestic violence awarness and I was going to run it until I realised that it was going to the YWCA. Male DV victims are often overlooked and horrifically mistreated by domestic violence support groups so I'll be sure to support a charity that actually cares about all DV victims, not just women.

I don't wish bad things on people, but accountability I do. And with what Oz stated about actual criminal behavior on her part to be detailed at a later point, I feel like a decent chunk of accountability is both necessary and about to come her way. I'm pretty hopeful though. Blair coerced Oz into signing those documents which means they can be challenged. You can't force someone into signing a legal document, just like how you can't sign anything while under the influence. Hopefully he can get his names off her loans. She is insidious.

I am so sorry that this is happening to you, Oz. Years ago, I was in an emotionally abusive relationship with someone who shares a lot of the same characteristics as Blair. I want you to know that you are NOT to blame for this situation. This is NOT your fault. This was Blair's decision, HER CHOICE to take advantage of people, and now she has to face the consequences. You ARE NOT a parasite. If anyone is a parasite, she is, preying on the generosity and kindness of her closest friends and loved-ones. You ARE NOT a bad friend. Blair might choose to blame you for her own unhappiness, but it is NOT your fault. Blair is actively choosing to live a life of misery and negativity. You ARE NOT responsible for her actions and her choices. Blair is the one with negative intentions. Blair is the one who is actively choosing to take advantage of people. Blair is the one who is using and abusing the justice system. I am so, so sorry that you now have to face her in court, and I wish you all the strength and determination in this legal fight.

The more I learn, the more and more disgusted I become with her, her behavior, and the methods she uses to get her way. Im sorry I ever supported her in the first place. Not sure about the term "tragedy": in a classical tragedy the protagonist just receives whats their inevitable fate, oftentimes due to some character flaw that they have. A bad person that just makes others suffers because they are a bad person is not a tragedy, or unavoidable in any form. Its just a bad person being bad.

The feeling of being trapped and powerless at the hands of your abuser as they spin their own narrative and revel in having you trapped under their thumb. It is a sickening, hopeless feeling. Your videos and humour gave me hope and joy every time you posted. I'm alive and not planning on changing that now. You did nothing wrong, even in the slightest. Your kindness, humour, and intelligence made me laugh until i cried more times than i can count. And you *are* intelligent. You built a computer in minecraft, thats incomprehensible. I look up to you even more now. You've been living through hell, and fighting ceaselessly. You aren't alone anymore, you don't need to fight alone anymore. I too have chronic pain and i am also in a wheelchair, I completely understand the sheer torture life is with non stop pain. I have had days that were so bad I couldn't do anything but rock in place and cry, I just wanted to say you're not alone, and I'm so sorry you have to live the same way I do, I know what you said is controversial with ending everything yourself, but my take on it is we should be allowed the choice to end it, if at that point we have stopped living life and we are just existing, mentally destroyed and a shell, we legally have to let our pets go if they don't have a quality of life. It has always baffled me why we can do the same. Most people without any mental health issues, don't just wake up one day wanting to just end everything. The people who think we should deal with pain forever would have a change of heart if they themselves suffered from chronic pain and disability I'm a heart beat. I am glad you found something to life your spirit, and I hope that continues to be the case. Personally I wish I had the same option, I hope I would never need that option, but I wish I could even have that decision, there are hoops which are good, it should never be decided lightly, but if we put pets down that are suffering with no quality of life, why are we then why are we forced to endure the torture? I wish you the best. Sorry for unloading on you.

Well, i don't wanna say that it is his fault, but when someone brings you in onto a room with a lawyer and papers you should at the very least read them, it's easy to be told a lie in front of you using trust. People overcommit with trust on relationships and end up payng the price. It's still a huge shame that he had to end up here and a completely unfair situation don't get me wrong, but he should've seen the red flags like her pulling him away from friends. I really hope he gets back on his feet soon

They do it on purpose, and many, many people have fallen victim to assholes like illuminaughtii because of how good they are at hiding their intent. They win your trust and don't show their true colours until they know you're at a disadvantage. "he should have seen them" is unfair to say to someone who has been trapped by an abuser. It's not easy-you can't live your life mistrusting everyone, even your own partner. You just don't suspect them of malice, because why would you? You give them the benefit of the doubt and put them first, because they are your partner. Meanwhile, every move they make is calculated- but you don't expect that because a loving partner and friend would not do that, and that was who you thought they were. People don't overcommit- people fall in love and make friends, and it's normal to trust someone that close to you. If you withhold trust on matters as important as someone's good intentions towards you, then you should not be with them. If they break your trust, it is still their fault.

I literally just closed a 10 year chapter in my life where my ex used my credit to buy a house “with” me after him and my “bio mom” bullied me into marrying his 26 year old ass when I was 19. I didn’t live in that house a full month before he physically bullied me out and my “mom” helped him take me to the cleaners by ensuring he got a great lawyer and I was 22 and clueless. The fact she set the foreclosure date to _right before Christmas_ is just, wow. That's lower than low. She's a real piece of work. Can't donate much because of rent problems. But as a Blair-former-fan I felt the need to do it anyway. You and the others had gone trought a lot. Her way of behave reminds me a "friend " I had. Manipulation and control can leave traumas that are hard to get off from. I wish you the best luck and I hope she will get the punishment she deserve

Im a bit in the red at the moment but I will come back and donate more when I can. I’ve been following since before the beginning. I knew there was something up with Blair. She was constantly tooting her own horn about how lucky her dog was to have her to the point where it was apparent she was in love with herself. I enjoyed her content but watched it on 2x to funnel the info in without having to listen longer than needed. I had no idea how horrid she was. I’ll come back again on payday and try to give more ❤.

Don't be afraid to seek therapy if possible. What she did was disgusting, and you deserve a trusted professional to help you through it. This is abuse. I can't donate much but I just had to give something. I am so, so, SO sorry that this demon abused you in such a vile, cruel, manipulative way. No one deserves this, especially not young people who don't have the experience with creatures like Blair. I can't tell you it gets better because I don't know, but what I can say is that there are thousands of people who support you in any way that they can. You are not alone, even though she tried her best to isolate you. She couldn't break your spirit, and this video is a proof of that. I don't know if it gets better but I know that you are capable of pulling through. Stay true to yourself and keep doing what you love.

people really do not talk about financial abuse enough. people tend to focus on emotional and physical abuse but financial abuse can be one of the most devastating thing that can happen to someone. I had a family member who was old and couldnt advocate for herself and all of her money and her home was taken from her. I genuinely think she wouldnt have died as early as she did if she didnt have this massive burden put on her. i hope you get the justice you deserve because no one should ever have to go through this.

Also… you are not a parasite at all. I guess now you can see it’s a pattern like she made Wonder think about himself a similar way or at least she tried to suggest. IT’S ABOUT HER and not about you. Her struggle with her own mental things/way she thinks and handle things. Just we tend to take things personally and a healthy individual at first try to see the own wrong doings. So it just means that you are healthy and as a young man you don’t have much experience with ppl and relationships. It is a hard lesson from the life but you are doing good/try to handle and fix things. You can also see how many ppl support you 😊
