In this video, I explain what a ceramic stain is. Ceramic stains are used in glazes, underglazes, slips, stains, washes, engobes, terra siggilata and more. I use ceramic stains to color my glazes, slips, and stains/washes. I also buy commercial underglazes that contain ceramic stains.
