I am contemplating 🤔 dinner and ice cream... not necessarily in that order. 🤣 I have noticed a shift in what I am seeing in content generally on bookish KZfaq, and how often folks are uploading. I know creative burnout can happened to anyone. Even sm. channels like mine. Your self care is more important than subs, and content for the wee masses. I take short breaks myself, because my job can be quite time consuming. I'm also 2 yrs later still figuring out what works for me. Kevin if you want career ideas I can totally see you working in the mental health space like as a counsellor/therapist, and/or working with teens/children, especially LGBTQ+. I can see you being the teacher that leads the GSA and whose classroom everyone wants to hang out in at lunch. I think you could also do really well in something like massage therapy/acupuncture/various other non-medical therapies because you have a calm, supportive, safe energy. I can see you working in public service or for a charity.

Is also good as a reminder and as a story as a whole. Akemi Dawn Bowman is an amazing story teller and the representation in her books is soooooo good and honest and I love her as a writer. ❤️

At least when I'm eating alone. Right now I'm eating trail mix. My top three Taylor Swift albums are: Evermore Folklore Reputation And I get why you don't want to work in retail anymore. I'm working in a department store. Next month I'm having my 9 years anniversary there and I can't believe how much the attitude of the customers has changed because of covid. Most customers used to be really sweet before covid, but now they are awful. By now I can't count anymore how often someone said nasty things to me or even threatened to hit me in the face. Some even told me that I deserved to die and all I did was reminding them that they can't skip a line or that their face mask is supposed to cover their nose. It's insane. ...Thinking about it...it's no surprise that I needed to start therapy in 2020 and that I'm on sick leave for a week right now because of poor mental health. By the way, I think it's great that you are openly talking about your mental health and that you are taking breaks whenever you need them. I keep my fingers crossed that you get to travel to all those places you want to go to! Rome is amazing. I've been there a couple of times already and feel like I left a piece of my heart in Italy when I got on that plane back home to Germany. Places in Germany I would suggest going to are Berlin and Lübeck. Lübeck is a beautiful city and from there you can easily go to the Baltic Sea and also to Hamburg.

The only horror book that I know people around me loved is The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters. But I don't know if it's so much super scary as it is very literary. I love her writing, especially her novel Fingersmith. I knew if she scared me, it would literally be too much for me. So I skipped that one. There's probably a way for me to be more nosy and find your reading list online, but have you read the Scholomance books by Naomi Novik? The third in the trilogy drops next month. And my friends and I are so freaking excited.
