You can feel the power in every hit, different sounds of hitting (metal arms, projectiles, jade's stick..) immersive surroundings and physics of every detail (blood, bullet rounds, interactibles) falling on the ground or on the character... MK1 just has that sterile mono sound, rendered stuff simply falling and disappearing.
