OMG Cathy, you crack me UP! Love your sense of humor AND your talent of course! "It's two ~ two ~ two shows (mints) in one." (Showing my age quoting an old Certs commercial!). Love the retro papers!!! Was wondering where you were going with white embossing on white paper (card 2) ~ then VOILA ~ you inked! Brilliant!!!! Love card 3 also! Very elegant!

I was able to get my order in before they ran out (thanks for the link). I almost didn't get the kit but by the time I put the stamps & dies in my cart, it was more cost effective to just get the kit even though I don't need any more patterned paper. Kristina knocked it out of the park with that stamp set! I also added a package of that Midnight Green cardstock to my order - so gorgeous! The dies are a bit pricey but you get them for the whole stamp set so it's worth it. Great cards today!!

I said it the only purchases from. Ow on are Simon and Gina. I already ordered and this time I was smart and got the dies to go with them. Hopefully they’ll get here quick so next week I can play. No work just cooking and hopefully crafting until the kids get here

Last month I waited for my kit to come before watching your unboxing...I couldn't do it again this month 😂 As much as I love the surprise, I love watching you unbox and make your cards. Gives me ideas before I even have my kit! I loved all of these cards! I actually think my favorite was the one you sanded, I never thought to do that! I may partially copy your idea for the merry and bright, but I want blues and purples with that gold, and maybe a smaller sentiment. Love you Cathy ❤

I have disposable (medical) gloves that I use when I don’t fingerprints on something, or if I am doing an especially messy technique and don’t want it all over my fingers

If you’ll put some low-tack tape “ears” on your card (stuck or the backside, of course) you can pick up the card over and over without getting oily fingerprints on it.

Cathy these are wonderful! My favorites are the purple sanded one, the gradient tree, and the gold/buttercream one! I initially saw the SSS post of this new kit and saw the photos of your cards as inspiration and thought - Oooooh how did she do that?! I always love to try to figure out who the designer is at first glance, and how it’s done! Love them! ❤ thanks for all you do!

For the purple one: At first I thought you swiped white ink over the top, but it’s so delicate in areas, so I wasn’t sure. So happy to see that it’s even easier than I thought !

I'm loving your makes!!! I'm learning a lot. But, as a beginner, I have a Q : When U add a writing panel inside? ( usually for which dark colors )? I saw it for the black, .... Glad I have the subscription especially since it seems like it ran out (the good thing about having the subscription you have the option to not purchase after seeing it released so it is a win win as far as subscriptions go)

I cancelled my subscription for the same reason. The kits were very expensive and then when the Nov kit arrived and I saw that the normal 6x6 patterned papers had been cut down to 4x6, that cemented my decision.

So sorry the kit did not meet your expectation. The pricing for these is truly a big cost savings. The stand alone product usually equals anywhere from $70 to $90.

I couldn’t see the pin Cathy used (didn’t have my glasses on & watching on phone lol), but as long as you get a pin that is stainless steel, it should work! Non-stainless will rust.

Just a quick question: is there a reason that you didn't stick the "Happy Holidays" to some cardstock instead of removing the stick and then glueing it? Does that make sense? Why not use the natural stickiness of the sticker?

I actually thought about that while I was doing it but the main reason is that I didn't want to have any sticky edges at all and I knew I would not be able to cut the card stock perfectly to fit so I just did it this way!

I watched until the box was opened. This is the third box in a row I will pass on. It's nice, but my Christmas cards are done, and I believe most crafters are also in the same place. Simon Says is my favorite boxes but you are so behind with your themed boxes that they aren't worth waiting a year to use them. Just an opinion from one user.
