Thank you so much for your continued support and awesomely positive comments. This channel has been fuelled by you guys and the more you watch, comment and like the content the more content I will post. This channel was made during lockdown simply to show my friends how I paint in my spare time and since then it has grown into a nice little platform with quite a lot of content. Please feel free to ask any questions in the comments bellow and I will get back to you and answer you to the best of my ability.
As always Thank you for tuning in and watching and I hope you enjoyed this video and I really do hope that it helps you on your painting adventures.
I would like to add a special thank you to my good friend Mark Llewellyn for his amazing backing music. My videos wouldn't be anywhere near as good without them.
Also a massive thank you to my good friend Chris Dixon for his artwork on my banner.

The rollers are so cool, and the bases you made look amazing! I don’t have access to a 3d printer, but I’ll definitely be trying to source some for somewhere. They will really improve my basing!

Thanks so much. The rollers are really fun and great to use for bases and terrain. It makes terrain pieces looks like they’ve taken a long time to make but they are so easy to use. I hope you can find some my friend. I know green stuff works makes glass ones but they can be a bit expensive if you plan on getting a few different ones. Hopefully you can find some 3D printed ones online. Thanks so much for watching and commenting my friend it really helps my channel out and I really appreciate it.

Thank you for watching and commenting my friend it really helps my little channel and I really appreciate your time.

Thanks a load dude! I didn’t actually have to do anything with these ones, but in the past I have used a little bit of water on the roller to stop the clay from sticking. It works out really well. Hope this helps. Thanks for dropping by mate it’s nice to hear from you.

@@Bread0fHeaven haha yeh I've been lurking a lot recently 😆. I'll defos give that a try, perhaps a wee bit of soapy water too. Do you leave the clay to set a bit before doing the roll?

@@jmaccsarmiesofmiddleearth nah I don’t leave the clay set. I go in for the kill straight away. If I make any mistakes I can then quickly mix it back together and start again.

Hi Dan, videos like this really round out your channel!! Your tips and tricks help to raise the level of modelling. I always wanted to use these rollers. Thanks for showing how to use them. How long does the clay take to dry? Do you go over the static grass with anything to seal it all in? I think the wood floor could have used a darker wash to bring out the texture of the wood. This is great content and I can't wait to see what you bring us in the future. Diolch my brother

As always Michael you have some fantastic questions for me. I love it when you ask questions as it will help others who may be thinking the same thing. The clay takes a good few hours to dry. I normally leave it for at least 24 hours to make sure that the thicker parts also dry just in case of any cracks that might appear. When it comes to covering the static grass I do normally use a clear Matt hobby sealer spray can. That way the grass gets an added coat of toughness to hold it in place when the scenery gets used. I think you are right about the darker wash on the wood to really bring the textures out a lot more. Although the colours and powders have worked well there could also be more contrast and this gives me room to improve. I’m happy as always you’ve enjoyed this one and appreciate all of your input my friend. Thank you so much for your time and dedication to my little hobby place it honestly means the world to me. Thank you brother ( diolch I chi brawd ).
