Good morning from New England I've been playing drums for 41 yrs and when I came across Gojira in 2014 it changed my playing forever I've always done hard rock/metal/AIC styles but Mario Duplantier redefined syncopation and double bass on the FMTW Concept album Mario opened my mind to using cymbals for fill especially the ride I love those bell hits he just tossed in so casually I've seen the mighty Gojira 8 times since 2006 The last time being in Portland Maine about 9 months ago with Mastodon and Lorna Shore and even with those heavy hitters on the bill Gojira clearly stole the show Imho Mario is an alien to watch and he and Joe have that brotherly sympatico that makes even thier most complex sings sound tight a hell Also Imho I think Christain and Jean-Micheal are the secret weapons of the band Christain is one of the most disciplined acruate players I've seen and J.M. is just the happiest bassist in the world Each member pours thier blood sweat and tears into ever song ✌️😎🧐🤘

I saw them live at Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium last year. They blew my mind and my hair with their majestic sound. GOJIRA RULES!!!

Hey Shane. Been a longtime fan of your content now, I wanted to see if you'd be able to react to my band Novareign's new single "Ironsides." We play power metal akin to the likes of Angra/Hibria with some Dragonforce thrown in there from time to time. I'd love to hear your thoughts on our new music. The band consists of guitarist Balmore Lemus (ex-Exmortus, Judicator, Warbringer) , singer David Marquez , Bassist Moizilla Galvez, and myself on drums. Love your stuff man! Ps.
