I always wondered what season 2 would've looked like (if it had one.) Jedah would be the new antagonist from another dimension with Q-Bee as his goofy assistant, B.B. Hood would be a failing hunter using random gadgets out of her basket to catch monsters, and then there's Lilith as Morrigan's bratty little sister who just so happens to have a crush on Harry.

Lmao, how weak is Pyron's spaceship that his transport beam is just stopped by minor inconvenience? Talbain, Felicia and the Merman just hid and it gave up. Frankenstein just tossed a fake body and it accepted it. Sasquatch and his family just snowballed it out of there.

I like how they made extra sure we knew it was Germany by putting a delivery driver in lederhosen.

Never saw this show, but even as a kid I woulda been so damn confused how the tractor beam could lift Morrigan and a whole ass pyramid straight out of the ground, but it couldn't get Talbain out of a cave and then gets beaten by snowballs. I like Pryon being an alien. Makes him like the King Ghidorah of Darkstalkers. But that space ship is so very goofy.

The Darkstalkers games should really have cartoon style and on-model characters designs from the show as alt-costumes, as part of a free update.

I think this version of Darkstalkers is interesting because the actual plot is that everyone is a gelatin creature but they have all forgotten, considering the way they all move and emote.

Since the show managed to feature Donovan & Hsien-ko, part of me kinda wished how would they handle (& butcher) the Savior newcomers (Jedah, Lilith, Q-Bee & BB Hood) out of a sense of morbid curiosity. God, I'm weird.

Harry is the worst part of this. No one, let alone a CHILD would have his level of cool-headedness and guts encountering Felicia in their BEDROOM!!! If I were him, I would have probably fainted or combusted into flames.

Scott also played Lord Raptor in the english dub of the Darkstalkers OVA.

This show is a tragedy because it shouldn't have been hard to make the Looney Tunes-ass Darkstalkers into an action comedy and it's obvious that someone on staff really did their homework on the game's story and characters; the difference between this and the Street Fighter cartoon in this area is night and day (though technically it's the fault of the SF cartoon following the movie, which by mandate shoved nearly every SF2 character in). But of course, all that hard work got sandpapered out by the time it left the board room and reached the unfunny writers' hands. And the horrendously cheap animation makes things ten times worse. It must've been hell for those poor underpaid animators to rush out such a shoddy adaptation of the wildly imaginative spritework. Even Harry could've been OK with better writing, as human characters have worked in the games, and the show's premise of monsters teaming up is ripe for the inclusion of a kid keeping these terrors of the night on the side of good.

The fact that they even made this show for kids is baffling enough, one of your main characters is a freaking succubus.

I would love if everyone who spoke to Rikuo added "You're quite attractive." or "Youre mysteriously handsome." to every conversation with him.

Big Foot's voice was hilarious. Sounded very much like a classic Warcraft Orc. Was half expecting him to say "Zug Zug".

I will say that this show has a surprisingly decent voice cast. This was the first and only instance of a Scottish Morrigan for decades and Scott McNeil was so good at Lord Raptor that he later reprised his role for other projects.

It's like 4Kids was put in charge of making Tales from the Cryptkeeper, but with worse animation and censorship!

Remember seeing this... and the anime, and yes it odd they added a wizard kid, so basically Harry potter in Darkstalkers lol. I wish the game came back, even if it was a spin off, even like Devil May Cry style game.

The Darkstalkers cartoon is just too hilariously goofy for me to me to put it in the Bottom 5 Worst Game-to-Animation Adaptations. (And apparently, it reflects the comedic tone of the games better than the otherwise much prettier OVA)

This could have been gargoyles quality. Would have needed new voice actors and a good polish but it deffinitely had potential.

Yup, I made the unfortunate choice to check this version out and I only made it through that first episode. Uuooff! Then I watched the 4 episode anime version. Holy shit! The anime one is the adult version.Made me wish for a dark netflix remake in the same vein as the castlevania anime.

Found the DVD box set of this "marvelous" show last year, I immediately bought it and yes I know it's bad. Just couldn't miss out on owning a copy.

So we have Koga vs. Naraku or Bale and SIIIIINDRHIIIII vs. Gabriel Angelos or Eliphas the Inheritor vs. pretty much the entire Soulstorm cast. Hope Scott has more lines on par with metuhl bawxes and Steel Rehn - Rikuo and Lord Raptor already show some promise. 🤣

I watched the whole series back in October 2020 alongside the Talbain v Saberwulf Death Battle. I had a good time laughing at the cringe. I didn't know this Talbain could even speak before watching actual episodes and was surprised he had a knockoff Jason Statham accent.
