Youth was a song produced by Mingi while on hiatus (in 2018 he took 8 months again bcs of anxiety :( ) and the lyrics are just thoughts about youth and how he became now an adult. When he came back, he wanted to complete the lyrics and sing his unit with Yunho because they are friends since high school, so they have a lot of stories. It gives that nostalgia of growing up and everything that comes with it, but thankfully not being alone. Producer Mingi actually goes for more soft feeling music and his way in lyrics is so good (I love him sm) and this song gives Yunho a place to show off his vocals. Thank you for your reaction!!

Yunho is always Mingi's one-pick... He produced this song a couple of years back when he was coming back from his hiatus... When KQ asked who he wanted to do this song with, he chose Yunho coz they both have been together in their youth... They knew each other 4 years b4 they debuted as ATEEZ... They called each other the night b4 their KQ auditions but they just wished each other good luck but didn't know they were auditioning for the same company... DESTINY is real with ATEEZ... They both got in... During the current tour, they start the performance for YOUTH by recreating the call they had with each other...

Youth is produce and written by Mingi, the song is about his life. Mingi chose Yunho for this song because they've been together since highschool. He made this song when he was on or after his hiatus (if i'm not wrong). That's why this song is so important to them, it's like they're telling their story to us. Like Yunho is always there for Mingi and vice versa

I don't even know where to start😭 This song grew on me so so much. With each listen I loved it more. Their vocals, the lyrics, the melody, the rhythm... did I talk about the vocals? I probably have to admit I love it a little bit more than IT's You, even though that should be hardly possible. Lorewise all the unit songs play in world A. In this mv are so many references to this. Mingi and his demons from a darker past. Yunho and his brother who died in a car accident. The music his brother left behind. And wow to the image of burning the house full of those memories down. Let it go. Move on. And also wow to two of our main dancers and the choreo they showed us in this mv. Yunho said he put a lot of thought in his little sequence. We waited a long time to see some solo dance from him and I still hope he will do a dance cover sometime. Listen to those adlibs at the end 😭 Mingi made such a great such a special song.
