San is such a caring person. He gives importance to every little details about the members. Mingi is such a sweetheart. His smile can make your day more lively.

I have San’s Direct Messages and he’s such an insightful warm loving person. He is definitely my most major bias wrecker in Ateez. Sorry Seonghwa 😅

I don't have the energy today to leave you a whole book, but both San and Mingi are massive sweethearts. I wish they went into how very strange Mingi can be (in the best ways), and how chaotic things get when you get San going, because both of them add so much to every situation they're in! I, too, very much admire Mingi, and any idol that takes their mental health seriously enough to take a step back when they need to. My ultimate bias in kpop, Bang Yongguk, did the same when his group was active and it just warms my heart to see how both B.A.P and ATEEZ supported, included, and understood. Mingi is a darling, and his love of music and dance are so precious. I am so glad he's in a better place now. And San is just the brightest ball of sunshine! It's funny that you say you didn't expect him to be an introvert, because just about everyone that has seen him on stage says that. But things that he'll be 100% into showing off on-stage, for instance his abs in that shirt, will have him laughing and blushing and covering his stomach when the guys try to get behind-the-scenes footage of it. He is loud and boisterous, and he and Wooyoung together is just a recipe for madness, but at heart he is an incredibly caring and gentle soul.

During that one kingdom performance of rhythm ta, san was injured the entire time and we never noticed until we saw his fancam, he was limping off stage but jumping and stomping during the show 😭 he really tries his very best as a professional, i have so much love and respect for him

That was an intense start to your morning with San 😂 his duality is just unreal, I think every person atiny or not is attacked by San in that fireworks outfit 😅 one thing i love about their styling is you can tell their stylists really customize each members outfits to fit their style and what they are comfortable with. Also mingi was missed such much during his break but like the guide said it made all atiny realize how truly important he is 🥹 One thing you'll notice when you start watching more live performances is that even though ateez perform amazing choreography in sync they are also able to inject a bit of each of their own unique styles of dancing. It makes watching all of their fancams so fun 😍

Both San and Mingi have such multi dimensional personalities (San is much more open though) :) I wouldn't say that Mingi is shy when interacting with people, he's also quite confident about the effect he can have, but his anxieties make him withdraw and he needs a lot of care, affection and validation to thrive.

Every time I rewatch this guide with a new person, I always get a twitch when it cuts off the Seo Taiji Immortal Songs performance because right after that raspy part San has an amazing part where he's harmonizing with Jongho and it sounds heavenly. I know those videos can frequently get blocked so I would understand not having a reacting video, but I highly recommend any of their 5 Immortal Song performances. They truly amazed me when I first saw them and I frequently go back to rewatch them all.

I'm ot8 but i also have a soft spot for mingi🥺💙... So when u said that i felt it. When i became atiny mingi was on hiatus i didn't even knew him but i was so sad and badly waiting for him to return.. I only got to know Ateez during Kingdom so, as Mingi was missing at that time, I didn't know too much about him at first. I had started to watch some older content by the time Kingdom finished. It surprised me in the best way when Mingi came back how quickly he snuck his way into my heart. He's so precious. And he's just been wrecking me completely this comeback - his confidence has skyrocketed lately and it's so attractive. San, ahem, well San is just beyond for me. He is my guilty pleasure when he is performing and my sweet sunshine and moral compass off stage. 😆

[Long post warning] This was a great combo because they're such dominant personalities in the group in different ways. It's almost hilarious that our sweet princess is an extravert, but our demon mountain is an introvert. Like... what!? San is a truly awesome human. When he started with the group, his performance skills were _good_, but not exceptional (particularly in a group of exceptional performers!). He actively put in the work to better his dance skills as a whole, his physical condition, and his performance skills. I know we say demon line because of their ability to be demons on stage, but I think for me part of the demon is that drive to make continuous improvements. That's not a diss on any member; you can see the improvement in every skill for each person. But I think Hong Joong, Seonghwa, and San are the epitome of those who have undergone transformation "by fire," if you will, and it's really brought out their finer points. There's really something special about the group that could both encourage and accept that San has been called an over-the-top performer. It may seem true if you've only ever seen him once in a live performance (or a tongue-rolling TikTok), but when you really see how that presence evolved to become what it is, you recognize it's not "just" for show. It's work, commitment, and excellence. Anyway, Mingi. Our princess is so wonderful in every possible way. We really missed him when he was out on hiatus, and of course everyone worried for him, but the group did a great job in remembering/talking about him and reminding us that the team is always 8. He came back a bit quietly, but then I think he saw what sort of impact his return has/had, and was both humbled and energized by it. He often gets one of the loudest cheers during live performances because he's just that cool. He's a beast on stage, and there's a reason he's in the OT dance line. He's the one I most want to roll in bubble wrap because the world doesn't deserve his gentle brilliance. He's going to show us a lot of wonderful things in the coming years, I can feel it. One more thing, because it wasn't in this video, but Mingi explained that if you say "fix on" fast, you hear "Song" and with Song being his family name, it's a wordplay. it was so nice to see your reactions for them! they're such sweethearts, all of ateez are, but in their own ways that really shine. they are, themselves, eternal sunshine. i tear up everytime seeing san's performance for intro. he not only pours his entire heart and soul into his art, but his entire being. and then his warm and kind self beyond the art just continues to inspire. him just being himself easily draws out smiles even on the worst of days, and his words of love and encouragement are truly from the heart. i second watching the kq fellas series after this to see more of this side to him pre-debut (there's also a part where you WILL need tissues, and it's the same part where i mentioned before that tissues are needed for hongjoong as well, just a fair warning ahead of time). he's such a precious ball of sunshine, but he's also so sincere with a quiet strength to him, it's so admirable and comforting. mingi is so, so sweet. there's a special energy he gives off that i can only describe as "mingi energy". you can see it in his eyes, in his smile, it's felt in his laughter and in his words, it radiates from his art, and is just at the core of his existence. should he ever reach a point where he needs time off to take care of himself again, i support that in a heartbeat; regardless, i hope he fully knows just how much his presence is irreplaceable in the world. there's a mingi-shaped place in the hearts of every person whose life has been touched by him, and whatever is needed to allow him to thrive to the fullest, he has every bit of love and support. saying this as someone who has struggled with severe anxiety and depression for most of their life, to mingi and everyone else facing this struggle, you are not weak in any way for going through this, nor are you a burden. you are so damn strong, and it takes so much courage to not only face it head on, but to give yourself the care you need to heal as best as you can and continue moving forward day by day. San's duality is something else! I personally love his personality off-stage. There was another guide out there where it features a clip of him also saying that Atiny are the most important. [Through Ateez, Atiny can gather strength and inspiration but if life gets hard because of Ateez, then Ateez shouldn't be your focus. It should be Atiny, themselves.] - That moment made me respect him / Ateez more. Mingi's hiatus was unfortunate, but I'm happy that KQ allowed him to take that break. Being an older stan, there were so many stories out there about idols being pushed beyond what is healthy. FYI, Ateez's "If Without You" - 1000th Day Special Selfie MV was the first video that Mingi appeared in after his hiatus and it was a surprise for Atiny. Many Atiny were emotional seeing him again. San is missing from the video because he tested positive for COVID.

When you said everything about Mingi is cute, I felt that. I think everyone, no matter who their bias is, has the BIGGEST soft spot for him. He's one of my bias wreckers and he's just so good 😁 his personality is just so fun and funny at times. Keep it up queen! You're videos are awesome!

Oh my!!!! Finally my ULT BIAS Mingi!!!!! I Stan other groups, but Ateez is my ULT group and the only group I have seen in concert and it blew my mind and took over my heart! I’m really enjoying seeing your journey into discovering this amazing group! I had no idea when I first listened to them just how quickly they would climb my list of groups I stan to the point where they’re one of 2 of my ult groups! San is a literal ball of sunshine and the reason I fell in love with this group, they’re all amazing performers and idols, they all constantly wreck you each comeback but I’m firmly loyal to San who is now one of 2 of my ult biases. Mingi was so missed during his hiatus, I remember the day we got a picture of him in an airport flying out to support the guys filming an MV he wasn’t even gonna be in but it was the first picture we had gotten of him in public in so long! He recorded for all of the songs for Fever Part 2 so even though he’s not in any promotional material for that era, we still got his voice in the music! Can’t wait for you to see Wooyoung and Jongho and get your final thoughts on all the members, I hope you’ll continue reacting to fan edited videos of them as well as their music because we get so much amazing content with variety shows that you need to see!

Lovely video as usual. I've really been enjoying watching your journey in getting to know Ateez. You mentioned that San would make a good actor. While this guide mentioned Yunho's acting, it fails to touch on the fact that Seonghwa, San, and Jongho were also in Imitation with Yunho. Hwa and San played bandmembers in the group Sparkling with Yunho and while their parts were fairly small, it was still so much fun to see them and they both have mentioned wanting to act more. The pink hair that you said you liked on San was due to this role. Jongho played the maknae of Shax, the senior group to Sparkling. He was one of the bigger side characters and for Atiny it was quite fun to see him acting like a more stereotypical maknae.

So this guide is great, but it fails to mention that San had zero dance experience when he got to KQ. He has a triple black belt in Tae Kwon Do and grew up in his dad's dojang, so most of his power, flexibility and agility comes from that. He worked very, VERY hard to catch up to the rest of the members in terms of dancing, and KQ also took a big chance with him. It paid off BIG TIME. :)

Mingi is very smart and creative, it wasn’t touched in this video but he also doesn’t care to keep quite when he has something to say he will say it (includes being honest about things he has done just for entertaining the audience) also this guide said he was a lead dancer but he is actually a main dancer since he usually isn’t front and center in choreography it’s been confusing since the start but he is quite a genius when it comes to dancing too and you can tell he loves it…… he was also the one that started showing his abs back in MAMA 2019 but San and Yeosang are the ones that show the most skin now the confidence in these guys was build slowly but it’s a good thing or else Atiny wouldn’t survive

I don't know how interested you are in MBTI so I'll be brief, but "I" or "E" at the beginning doesn't mean someone is introvert or extravert (in our common understanding of these terms). It indicates which one of your 4 main cognitive functions is dominant (for me, being INFP, my dominant cognitive function is introverted feeling - what exactly that is, that's a whole different conversation 😉). "I" or "E" also says more or less if the person gains energy from interacting with people or by being alone in their heads. Not if you like or dislike being in social situations, but what do you prefer when you're tired, basically. Also, everything is a spectrum, so people who have the same "first letter", the same dominant function or even the same MBTI may behave differently and have different limits and preferences. Me and my sister both have "I" in our MBTI, both have introverted feeling as our dominant function, but have vastly different limits for how long we can be in social situations before the need to be alone is too much. It doesn't mean we don't enjoy being with people or we're shy, we just have to be by ourselves from time to time 😊 But our father, who's also "I", is the biggest life of the party you can find. Can't stand being alone for too long, always seeking other people. I don't even know if anyone is interested in this, but I decided to write my comment anyway 😅 Learning about MBTI helped me understand myself and others better.

San is great person because his dad is one of the best parent i have ever heard of. I remember the story about San telling his dad he doesn't want to study anymore because he wants to be a singer, so his dad brought him to a concert and right after he asked about how San felt and said if performing is what will make you happy go for it. 😭😭😭 like seriously. He is so affectionate too. He called Mingi almost every other week when Mingi was in hiatus just to check up on him and everyone called him dad. I think he runs a taekwondo class for i can't remember exactly if disabled or something. Everytime San talks about him he has some profound life lesson. I said it before but San's dad is my ult ideal man lol. And ofc my ultimate bias, the high maintance princess, our favorite song, Song Mingi. I just want Mingi to not hurt anymore. Sannie is my first ever bias in ateez. Coz he is a babie 🥹 i love his pureness,kindness, sweetness and all he will be forever my babie in ateez even tho h is buff and doing sexy things now haha but yeaah

The guide also doesn't get much into this, but Mingi and Yunho are friends since school because they attended different branches of the same dance school and met up at competitions. That's also part of why the two of them have such similar technique. They both learned the same things, which is good, because whoever designed the curriculum for that school really knows how to teach tall people. :D

One of the best thing to watch are vlives with San and Mingi who are often roommates during the world tours. So so funny! Despite his problems, Mingi managed to maintain that lightness of spirit that was so missed by all Atiny during his hiatus. He worked hard to come back stronger than before and I’m sure he did. Although sometimes I feel like he’s lost some of that purity, like he’s got a little scar on his soul. But I’m still very proud of him and I remember with so much love when Captain said to him “Thank you for coming back” cause that’s what I wanted to say to him too ❤

Ya another great video! I love the respectful rewind 👀lol Something that I really like about San that isn't covered too much is how honorable he is. He holds himself to a very high standard, like all the members do, and accomplishes his goals. This maybe just due to too many hours of Ateez, but I feel like you can even see his discipline in his posture and how he carries himself (maybe due to all those years of martial arts training) but to me he seems not of this time. I have some recommendations for content to watch to get to know the members better: First of we have the Logbooks but there are quite a few of them ( more than 100) Wanteez it is a KQ produced variety content which is quite recent and quite hilarious The individual contents of the members ( by Hongjoong, MARS ASMR, Anews, Yeosangs Omniscient View, Sanchelin Guide, Minkiway, Muk Wooyoung and Jongst) this will give you the chance to see the members on their own and learn more about their interests You can also watch Ateez Crack or Funny moments videos where a lot of moments from Live Streams and Logbooks are included And then we have a ton of shows my personal faves are Fever Road, Treasure Film and Salary Lupin ( sadly Mingi isn‘t present in that one) If you want to go all the way to their roots you can watch the KQ Fellaz Series which shows them during their pre debut training in America They have also been guests at a lot of shows like Weekly Idol, Arcade Pang, idol human Theater and so much more I think that is a long enough list, but there are also MV shoot behinds which are quite funny as well, but should only be watched after you have seen the mv I hope that this list can help you a little with wading through all of the Ateez content that exists
