In the LN, there was an entire page of nothing but "Splat. Splat. Splat." etc.. for the whole page showing the goats walking on the army.

Yes, we literally didn't see a drop of blood, when in the novel the entire plain is covered in ground meat after that.

Emperor El Nix: He said he would use his strongest spell... so I'm guessing he can kill about 3, or 4 thousand with one spell.... Emperor's advisors: 3 thousand?! With one spell?? Impossible! *Ainz doesn't even use his strongest spell...

Curiously, Raeven survived through sheer luck here, since Ainz stopped the goats a second before one of them killed him, it didn't prevent the poor man from having a mental breakdown and wetting his pants of course, but he was still a lucky guy. Btw, those "baby goats" are lvl 90 and specialize in raw defense, in fact, in this world only the True Dragon Lords can harm them.🤓

End of Season 4 Spoiler ahead!! : Im pretty sure Raeven was one of the people the goats werent allowed to kill anyways. He joins Nazarik at the end of season 4, yes he only starts to make an effort to join after getting traumatized here but Renner is the one who choose who is useful to keep. And she likely had pointed out Raeven already for his exceptional skills at this point since Renner clearly can see right through him and since Climb is also already on the do not kill list since end of season 2 aswell. The 4 people on the list would be Gasef for obvious reasons, Climb because he belongs to Renner, the king since killing him could cause an all out war since you can hardly negotiate with a dead leader and Demiurge and Albedo at this point still think Ainz is fully against annihilation as it would tarnish Nazaricks name so they are definitely trying to avoid this outcome at all cost, and lastly Raeven for reasons named above. Ive heard people say Brain is the 4th person but i dont see any reason for that. Ainz doesnt know Brain, Sebas barely managed to get Tuare to be allowed to live so hes definitely not gona plead for another random person he barely knows and has no idea of is about to go to war against Ainz. And Renner clearly doesnt care about Brain being alive or dead judging from season 4s ending.

@@srco6865 That is never really confirmed, but from the volume's narrative it gives the impression that the goat was about to kill him until it suddenly stopped, likely coinciding with Ainz ordering them to stop by offering the deal to Gazef. We don't even know if Raeven was part of the equation for the future plan at the time (to conquer the kingdom) so again, it also sounds speculative.

@@diostaku2 What he says is a pretty reasonable assumption to make. Raeven was at least on the table, since the team up with the golden princess has already happened and it stands to reason they haven't been sitting on their hands for all this time. I mean they are taking overt actions, that means the plan for the kingdom must already be formed to some degree. If this man has a potential role to play in that plan then he cannot be killed, it's simple.

ye, that goblin army, is here to stay, making carne village, the 3rd strongest in the entire continent. emperor jircniv, did a lot of thins to get the empire into a stable and prosperous state, he did a lot of noble purges, corrupt, inept, and simply stupid, all dead, he's known as the bloody emperor. There's 2 factions, one that supports the King, the royal faction, and one that's comprised of some nobles that support the 1st son of the king, the noble faction, the struggle for power, and Marquis Raeven has a lot of influence between the two factions, but secretly has been trying to uplift the kingdom, and help the royal faction, hence his support for the 2nd prince whom he believes is more capable than the 1st and not corrupt. Those baby goats are lvl 90, while Gazef is barely pushing lvl 30. the sword s later explained what type of properties has

Great reaction as always, Ainz wouldn’t have liked Gazef as much as he does if Ainz thought Gazef would disobey his king, so accepted the duel with the conditions that Gazef set knowing it was respectful

Ainz red orb in his belly is a world item And the gauntlets Mare (who’s a boy dressed as a girl btw) is wearing are two World items so they have essentially 3 Nukes just between the two of them being there as well. (The gauntlets may be considered ONE but I forgot) Also Gazef is so ducking dumb he could have saved so many people

a fact that the anime omitted is that the battlefield was a true hell 😅 the blood of the soldiers literally reached the legs and the corpses of the knights looked like ground meat when they were stepped on by the monsters that Ainz summoned, I mean the anime scene should have seen a lot more Gore, that is, more graphic.

Ains used the 70,000 killed as kindling to start a fire and the baby goats killed the majority of the rest of the Kingdoms troops either by directly trampling them or having them trample each other in the rout. Most of the Kingdoms soldiers were conscripted commoners so they've now lost most of the work force that would have done the harvesting. The King,and Gazef are two Ains told the goats not to kill, you can guess about the other two.

Like 70-90% of those soldiers are not actually soldiers, but villagers and towns people the nobles forcibly conscript. Most of them wouldn't have armor or weapons, but farming tools. While the empire has a real standing army, with equipment and magic units.

Remember that in RPGs stats usually don't scale linear. As if they did you would feel as if you no longer progressed. Imagine having 1million HP and you level up to get another 10HP, that would be nothing for your current self. That is why there is a point in level gap were the possibility of victory becomes impossible unless you min max your character to have like a stat that is the dmg multiplier for your class being maxed. That way you can deal dmg, but you are a glass cannon, so since your level limits the gear you can use you can cause dmg, but your likelihood of winning is still near impossible.

It's too bad the anime is so rushed, this battle was even more brutal than it showed! It was basically a sea of blood from 100,000 soldiers. The baby goats that were summoned were actually smaller and faster, the anime made them bigger and slower. SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT. Anyway nice reaction, this arc and all the arcs in season 4 (including the movie not yet released) are my favorites of the entire story.

Yeah, the worst thing is that it wasn't even because of censorship, it was just faster and cheaper to do it that way.
