You can see the lyric affects like you're looking at it through tears in your eyes. This song feels so real to me and it hits so hard it makes me wanna cry. I love this song. The pain in his voice makes it even more feeling. Good job on this song and the visual affects. It completes it. Thank you.

Just got out of a really toxic relationship, and I'm literally at a loss. I don't like looking myself in the mirror, forget clicking pics or writing or doing anything I once loved because everything about me was picked apart. Before I met the narcissistic abuser, i was somebody else, and now i just don't know who I am anymore,so this song really hits me. @@emileekarasek756 its okay, my ex fiance was driving and a semi hit us on my side flipped twice her and the kids were okay but roof caved in and all impact was on my side had a brain bleed, fractured my neck and all kinds of injuries and hand mangled to bone. i was induced in a medically induced coma was suppose to last just 4hours, but i wouldnt wake up and then 3 days later i woke up and had full on amnesia and everybody just left me and didnt even try and show me how important they were, didnt even try and make me feel loved or in a familiar place, ex kickd me out i was homless while fucked up beyond imagination, and everybody thought id fail or be a cripple. but i fought and fought for my memories to come back and one day they all flooded me and to this day i still walk normal even with a fractured neck a nd things i didnt get surgery on, but my emotions are gone, i feel soul-less they all flooded me and to this day i still walk normal even with a fractured neck a nd things i didnt get surgery on, but my emotions are gone, i feel soul-less

We all interpret music differently... but as a Survivor of domestic violence... Exactly a year ago I finally managed to get out of that "relationship" A year ago I used to just drown in so much. A year later, I still do, but feel better than i thought possible... And either way, I still got tears in my eyes. This song means more than I could describe. My lord this is a powerfully deep and emotional song. Every lyric feels like it comes from the deepest pit in my heart. The pain that comes with being a father, a husband , a man. We are expected to be pillars of strength, holding up those we hold closest. We cannot break, we cannot crack or fall. Just because we appear strong or brave doesn’t mean we aren’t suffering quietly. We chose to keep our emotions suppressed so those we love feel safe and protected. How many men out there would walk through hell for eternity just to keep their family happy.

I’m glad that you find comfort in you’re belief’s but I don’t believe as I’ve studied history and that shows just how harmful any religion can be, I’ve also had to put up with the the incredible levels of abuse from my religious family for just being who I am (transgender woman) with them quoting the bible at me and saying I’ll drag them all to hell with me for my sins. I do however sincerely thank you for you’re reply as even though I don’t hold the same beliefs I can still feel the warmth and care that was meant, thank you again for that

Had this play randomly on my Google Home. Had to ask it what song this was pretty quick. It absolutely captures the pain of those suffering from severe depression. It's a perfect description, that's for certain. Thanks for creating something that really speaks those feelings. Listening to it was hard and I can only imagine how hard it would be to write. Absolutely a new favorite. It is good to know when you're not alone.
