This whole franchise is just so damn fun, and this is one of my favorite sequels. Charm, humor, high stakes and balls to the wall action is what you get with each one and they all leave you with a big dumb smile on your face.

Riggs was setting the nose so it could heal correctly. And one thing you learn to love about this series is they grow the side characters ong with the main cast through out the series.

The movie _The Super_ is in no way as good as those other movies but it's still seriously underrated. Great "comfort food" kind of film. I feel the same way about the movie _Jimmy Hollywood_ too. I remember going into that movie feeling kinda down that day and coming out feeling totally cheered up!

now Octo doing all the sequels? lol for months or more they were doing strange shtick - "we don't watch sequels", doesn't matter how good they can be. I loved their reactions while I was subbed (and I still like them overall) but lost my patience with this sequel thing (+adam sandler's movies reactions spam)

Poor Danny Glover and his knees...someone once suggested that these movies, some of the biggest movies of the late 1980s, actually hurt Glover's career in the end because he was playing so much older than he actually was (he was 42 when they shot this one, playing 52-year-old Murtaugh) that the perception was that he really was Murtaugh old. I think he probably took PREDATOR 2 without even reading the script, just because it was a chance to play an action lead whose knees weren't old and fucked for once.

This video was the lightest part of my day and I needed the relief. I'm worried sick for my friend. She had a domestic abuse situation but finally got away from him but is suffering from suicidal thoughts right now. I sat at the hospital today helping her out and sitting with her. If any of you family members can please send her prayers, love, and good energy I would greatly appreciate it. She needs as much goodwill as we can generate. Thank you.

"Crazy don't die!" says Jay. Actually, the original ending of this film had Riggs dying but the filmmakers got smart and decided they wanted to have at least 2 (maybe 3) more sequel films. The pull away shot at the end orginally had "Knocking on Heaven's Door" playing over it.

The "OK, Ok, Ok" cracks me up because it reminds me of Matt Serra(former ufc champ). He'd do this similar thing were hed say "listen, listen listen, are you listening? Ok, listen, listen, listen. Ok listen." For like 2mns then finaly finish with "broooo, im out of my mind!" As the payoff. Such a charecter.

JL, I watched your video at 4 o'clock in the morning with a 100 degree temperature, body aches and no ability to get back to sleep and laughed my ass off. Regarding his readiness to be an action star in _Predator 2_ , I remember Danny Glover claiming he could run the 100 meters faster than Arnold, so he's been on the defensive about this for a while. The extraordinary thing about the _Lethal Weapon_ series is the music. Eric Clapton and David Sanborn are just cooking. This pairing works considering Mel Gibson's character is bipolar. Sanborn provides the manic soundtrack in Riggs' head and Clapton represents the depressive side, quite often fighting each other like an angel and a devil in the same moment.

"Diplomatic immunity." "IT'S JUST BEEN REVOKED!" This is, in my opinion, the best of the franchise. When people think or parody Lethal Weapon, they're are really thinking or parodying this movie and not the first one. Fun Fact: The body count is thirty-three, the highest of the Lethal Weapon franchise. What Script Fact: Jack McGee ad-libbed his line about the condom commercial during rehearsals. The cast and crew liked it so much, it was kept in the film. Historical Fact: Despite the film's "Free South Africa" stance, it was passed uncut by the South African censors and became a major financial success in that country. This wasn't much of a surprise, since apartheid was already on the outs anyway and ended on June 17, 1991. That's Hot Fact: Patsy Kensit claimed the sex scene was great but also kind of disappointing. While she had to strip for the scene, Mel Gibson was allowed to keep some things to himself. She confessed: "When we did a love scene, I was buck-naked, but he had his modesty pouch thing. So I didn't see it, and I didn't look. But he was a great kisser."

My opinion, the first Lethal Weapon is special because it was the first one and started it all. But as all four movies ratings, I love them all equally. All four movies are great. So don't stop here. You still have two more great L.W. movies to enjoy.

Glad you loved this film, J. This was always my favorite of the franchise. And the inclusion of Joe Pesci's Leo was perfect. To paraphrase director Dick Donner, with Leo/Joe Pesci the team had finally found their third stooge, and everything felt complete.

I mentioned this in other reactions, but Imma say it here too: the toilet scene would have worked BETTER IRL than it did in the movie. Mythbusters did a test of soaking the battery in liquid nitrogen, and the battery was frozen to where it took many minutes before the C4 exploded. They could have walked out of the bathroom. And taking cover in the castiron tub would protect them form the blast. Severe hearing damage, but they would have survived.

Jenette Goldstien, I like calling her the "sequel queen" has roles in various sequels, Here she is the cop that gets blown up on a diving board, She plays John's Foster Mom in "Terminator 2", She plays Vasquez in "Aliens"..... She rarely appears physically the same in movies. She was also in "Titanic" as an Irish lady with 2 kids in Hallway/Elevator, She was in the Beginning of "The Presido"

This reminds me, you need to watch the films of S. Craig Zahler, especially 2018's 'Dragged Across Concrete' with Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn as a couple not-so-clean cops who get into some truly wild shit. If you want one of the most grim, gritty, brutal and badass crime films in years, THAT'S the one.

The woman (Jenette Goldstein) who played the female cop (Meagan Shapiro) that was blown up on the diving board, was the rough, masculine, short-haired soldier (Private Vasquez) in Aliens, the one who, along with her soldier buddy, got caught in the ductwork and blew themselves up to kill 1 of the aliens. Actor Mark Rolston, who played *_Hans_* in this movie, was not only in Aliens with her, but *_WAS_* that same soldier (Private Drake) in the ductwork with her. She also played the stepmom (Janelle Voight) in Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

The last scene is wasted now on people that are only just seeing this film as you know that there are 2 more films, but when we watched back then for the first time, my mum and sister we crying and my dad and brother were like me, very subdued especially with knocking on heavens door being the music backdrop!
