About Naval Art:
NavalArt is still being refined, so please read our description for the early-access status. We will kick the updates in every 1-2 months, with a lot of content additions. Game Description:
-NavalArt is a sandbox game that combines design, construction, physics, and combat, offering players a variety of experience in different stages. Players will play as designer, engineer, and commander, respectively, and guide their fleets through the ages of steel and nerve.
Gameplay
-As a player, you will construct your warships in dock, using parts offered by the game or the mod community. Through careful placing and adjusting of parts, from overall hull shapes, to tiny anchor chains, you can shape your warships to anything you like.
-Each property is critical to your design, as different armor & weapon layouts will have different effects. Take your unfinished/newly finished ships for trials, and see if it is satisfactory.
-Lead your vessel to victory in Campaigns and Quick Battle Modes, through aggressive yet careful use of your powerful armaments like torpedoes and armor-piercing shells.
-Walk around your ships as a fellow sailor in Gallery Mode, lineup your fleet and enjoy the parade from your flagship!

The props go on the prop shaft next to the 2 struts that make a v. I used the part settings for fine rotation and positioning. Especially to line up the props. Helps with the rudders and hard to fit parts too.

Amazing, keep it up, heres a suggestion, make a small cruiser and try to fit the biggest gun you can on there, kinda like a pocket battleship.

@@thefox7938 the Deutschland-class from interwar Germany. 6 x 11” guns for main armament, quite an odd class and didn’t fare all too poorly, though not all too well either

the guns on the atlanta are actually dual purpose 5 in. guns, so they double as AA guns along with standard main guns

You can put the adjustable hull on the deck, flip it and increase the roundness to make a barbette

for armor concern i recomend the deck to have at least 15 inch armor thick and for upper and mid level deack hull to have 20 perhaps for a battlecruiser and protect citidal

Loved the video @Frantic! You should test the F1 with the Cleveland, Scharnhorst and the West Virginia to see just how good it really is. You can also use the Adjustable Hull Blocks to make the Barbettes, which are the part of the ship that protects the Interior of the guns beneath the turrets! My only other suggestion is to build a ship kinda like the King George V-class Battleships, but with the following Design features: • Main Battery of 3-4 Quad mounted 14" guns (British Design) • Secondary Battery of 8-10 Twin 5.25 inch guns (British) or 5 inch/38 Caliber guns (American) • Anti-Aircraft Battery with 40 millimeter Bofors, 20 millimeter Oerlikons, and the German 3.7 millimeter Guns (The German Guns have a farther Firing Range than the 40 mils, however the weight of fire is 25% of that of the 40's as well, while the 20's are the last line of defense against Aircraft) • Radar, Rangefinder and other Guns all must be between 1939 to 1945 Period • Two Smokestacks, and between 2-4 Screws and a "Cruiser Rudder for propulsion; Must have a minimum speed of 32 knots • Aviation Facilities for at least a single Curtis SOC (Scout Observation/Observer by Curtis) Seagull Floatplane; in the Absence of the Supermarine Walrus Floatplane used by the Royal Navy in World War Two. • Armor Scheme on par with either the King George V-class Battleships or the American Battleships of the North Carolina and South Dakota Classes. • A Camouflage pattern that should resemble the Pattern used by the Allies in the War And don't forget to use the Adjustable Hull Blocks for most, or preferably all, of the building process. I know this was a long read, but I just wanted to make sure I got my thoughts and ideas out there for you to, hopefully, see. Can't wait for the next video man!

3 is for torpedoes the torpedoes have to traverse to your mouse before you can fire

You can double klick forward with and type 0 it will become round in 1 block Also works for backward width

aa wise use aa artilary for long range like amarican 5 inch as for medium range get like bofors or british pounders and shortrange is plenty of machine guns like orlikon

An awesome predreadnought battleship! But keep doing your own thing, with replicas, it's not very creative as you're just doing practically the same thing other people have done tens of thousands of times already. So I like that this is entirely your own design.

If you want a deck colour that soesnt show on the sodes make the deck piece as thin as possible so you cant see it on the sides atleast not noticeable

also all guns have limit range so yea early war period guns have shorter range than later war

Make a Uss San Diego because it uses 8 small secondary 2 of the secondary is in each side while the 6 of them are in the back and the front and 1 torpedo lancher in each side

Test putting CIWS turrets on and other more modern systems on a boat too. And missiles and shit. (I have no clue what weapon systems there are in this game yet so I dont know if thats possible but)

i dont want to critisaze but my brain say i dont like the design so to ensure a good battleship get a big long hull and for having gun more up look up barbets for battleships and recomend the repulse class hull and for basic bridge desgane is to take idea from ww1 with a simple captains bridge at oliwer level and a huge tripod topand give enough length to add boilers not on the bridge and to have good secondary recomend casemate guns or widen the ship to have larger secondary guns and dont but arrmament on top of primary armament only aa guns go on top or 2 inch gunsthen detail it with lots of ladders or doors to the bridge and anchor with the chains on the front deack and want ideas of ships search them up like the dreadnaut

Frantic, you’re videos are great, maybe you could make them shorter by cutting off a lot of the building scenes because in my opinion they are quite boring, try adding more battle and action type scenes. Keep up the good work 👍
