Cream Pai needs a carbon fiber custom hood to clear the intake and to vent out heat, a carbon fiber intake plenum, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, and color matched hardware for the body kit. I know you recently upgraded the hardware but the little black dots all over a white/cream car isn't a great look. J.W. Speaker headlights would be nice as well. There are a few brands that make a carbon fiber intake plenum or you could have one made locally.

With the talent they have in Thailand, I'm surprised they haven't made you a clear hood with an opening for the plenum.....

I had the same issue with the starter motor. I ended up adding an inline relay to the starter start wire. The thin wire was not strong enough when it got hot.

Thank for the extra content Don’t know if you guys do this but in Australia there’s the xr8 from the falcon People do an xr8 bonnet bulge (to other cars) with carbon or fiber glass One recent build was the skid factory bigblock crown with bulge hood (Lots of guys have to keep things under the hood to be street legal here The falcon was famous for the bulge for the same reason you have on the bmw Cheers

Love this car, your attention to detail is impeccable. Especially in Thai roads. Currently have a e46 330 but in process of getting the v8 to work with the dash, try get some Coolant pipes made up then it's exhaust and make the prop and some better brakes. Getting closer. I'm bolted and happy with the positioning Sat in the bay. M3 bonnet fits but I just got a beat up one for testing. A second hand one in UK is 1k+ I'll never be as mint as yours but it's to be a fast road and maybe a track use 😊 I definitely should of brought one built and done. Glad you haven't changed lights keeping it oe+ and the black bumper mouldings. With starters as you mentioned you've swapped out clutch and fw. The starters meant to changes sa. E time as metal filing from the flywheel get inside the starter, when they get warm tolerances are tighter and causes it to jam. Common with cars with dual mass. Looks like the magazine should be about to land on my door. In UK 👌🤣 Already a performance bmw subscriber. And classic vw😅. I always take pics with keys lol. Your starter problems could be not enough grounds on the car the electronics are over heating or over loading it's nice to have a clean build but make sure you have enough grounds body to frame body to engine and engine to frame !! and yes putting a new starter will fix it for a bit but it will do it again !!

Last little tucked bay details will really have that floating motor look however I think having the full hood is much better for 2 reasons 1) throwing aerodynamics in the dumpster 2) even cooler than having the badass m3 v8 motor swap on display for everyone everywhere at all times is the subtle hint of the exhaust note, the idle & rumble of a v8, that seems to just keep on reving. The humble flex the foreplay/seduction making it even more awesome for those in the know while average joes might not connect all the dots and when you do want to show off / throw down having a one off bad ass custom motor swap lurking beneath the hood is what makes "pop the hood" cool in the first place. No hood/mini-hood is like a girls gone wild spring break chick running around drunk and topless where as a custom performance motor swap under a hood is like a playboy centerfold.

Why don't you do a slightly raised hood scoop above the plenum so it doesn't rub? I think it would look dope.

I worked on a guys 67 impala about 40 years ago and the problem no one could find was a wire would separate when the insulation got hot. Yes defected wire worked for years. Just saying it happened

Any Bosch part you should get the part number off it and cross reference it. That starter may be the same off something else for much cheaper. $400 isn't terrible for new.

Love the sound of that car. Missed the keys but you need to brush the steering wheel. It looks dirty, just saying. Need to use the sound going thru the gears as an end to videos. Left coast🇨🇦😎☮️

Think about getting the starter rebuilt for a back up

you should get a hood with a cut out for a section of the intake to show
