You guys have the skill without doubt, I think the focus is finding the mindset on the day of regionals. I honestly think top orgs should be paying for players to spend time with a sports therapist because mindset is *huge* in competitive sports of any kind.

I hate to ever critique individuals in the scene. But when you replaced Allu with Chrome, I must say I was sceptical. It seems he may have seeded some doubts within the team, lowering confidence and possibly convoluting tactics. All speculation obviously, but losses coinciding with his acquisition instinctively feels more like causation than correlation.

I feel like gen g can either be the best team itw or just the complete opposite no inbetween

Regain Jack!!!! I was really doubtful when Gen G benched Allu and hired Chrome as the new coach. Chrome has absolutely not convinced me yet and I really hope he will prove he is a worthy replacement at London.

Observation: When you're winning, you're prejumping each other's passes and know where each other is going to be. When you're losing, you're all a step behind each other and seem to be passing the ball to where someone should be, but no one is there.

It seemed like the game against Moist was not a skill issue, but rather a mental issue. 10:36 Going from 1-0 to 1-1 is actually not a big turning point. You have a tendency to catastrophize when, in your perspective, "big failures" or "great shame" happen to a team/player. You selectively perceive these situations and validate them, when in fact, these kinds of situations are not turning points. You can always come back from these situations, especially when the score is 1-1. In Germany, we say: "You made an elephant out of a mosquito." This tendency probably comes from your own experience, but have you ever thought that your expectation to fail after a shameful situation makes you fail more? It is not the shameful situation that made you play badly afterward, but your expectation to do so made it bad. Therefore, you have to let go of the thought that you can predict the future because a "key event" (losing 2-1 after a 1-goal lead) happened. Be open to an optimistic outcome. You can be more optimistic by collecting moments where your negative expectations did not occur(you win a game after a "shameful event"). Please don't tell me it occurs all the time. I would not believe you :) It is actually practice. You practice coming into shameful situations and actively remember your good outcomes. It will get better. You can inform yourself about other strategies, but I think this one is the most effective one.

You will bounce back and at the end of the day nobody cares about regionals.

A bad series is on the players. Going out in quarters two events in a row after winning 2 of the previous 3 is on the coach. They even started to struggle in open quals. They stopped dominating. They lost games and multiple OTs vs Champs and GC’s is unacceptable. It’s a system issue, not a player issue.
