It takes time to appreciate the materials used by Maurizio .Combined with all the traditional Japanese techniques in craftsmanship ,he's overall very good in every single category : outerwear ,shoes ,accessories . The avant garde scene owes almost everything to the Carpe Diem family .Said to be like the 1992 basketball dream team ,but it was more like Yugoslavia which after the civil war splitted into many great teams : -Maurizio Altieri MMoria -M.A+ by Maurizio Amadei -Label Under Construction by Luca Laurini -Lumen et Umbra by Issey Fujita -A1923(Augusta) by Simone Cecchetto -Individual Sentiments by Yoko Ito -Sara Lanzi -Marvielab by Mariavittoria Sargentini

Und noch eine Frage: Eugene Rabkin von stylezeitgeist hat gesagt, die goldene Zeit der artisanal avant Garde mode ist vorbei, ohne dies weiter auszuführen. Würdest du dem zustimmen wenn ja/nein warum? Lg

Haha geil hab ich auch erst im Stylezeitgeist Podcast gehört.. ja und nein.. ich würde sagen dass das Innovationslevel im artisanal Bereich vor ein paar Jahren deutlich höher war als heute. Auf der anderen Seite finden immer mehr Konsumenten diese Nische was ua CCP zu verdanken ist da der immer mehr Mainstream wird.

2 years ago i bought those amazing boots in Milano just knew "c diem" didn't whos and what just loved the avant-garde style now i love to know its an ma+ boots only thanks to the cross + on the bottom

I used to have a pair of ma+ derbies what seems like a lifetime ago. My style has gone into a different direction now but really enjoyed the content!

@@DavidMoseer honestly, I got more interested in wearing Japanese brands like kapital. I find that those garments are a bit easier to wear for my physical condition and a bit more compliant with my budget lol, but I still love Amadei’s work.

Only seen the origami wallet in pictures but I love how it looks. You think it's functional enough to use it as an everyday wallet? Been using a cardholder lately so I'm mostly concerned if it can carry more than 2 cards.

When you say "I stich everything by hand" you mean that you thread the needle and stich everything with your fingers and the needle or that you use your sewing machine as a tool?

Completely by hand with a saddle stitch (1 thread and 2 needles). No machine used in the process at all ✌🏽

@@DavidMoseer what I would do in your position, is to make a video presentation like the one you made, path to insanity I think it was called but you also show some of the process with a voice over talking about the Brand's philosophy and upload it to KZfaq, as a viewer I think that would be interesting and of course I'm not in your head so I don't know your direction neither I do your past
