Join my doctor, Dr. Ryan Monahan of Peaceful Mountain Medicine, and me as we discuss his non-pharmecutical approach to all aspects of health; diet and lifestyle, supplements, why probiotics might not be the best thing for you, how your phone can be affecting your health, limiting your exposure to toxins, why oat milk is bad news, the heartbreaking conversation about alcohol, and what blew my mind about what I shouldn't be doing.

This is so good. We need more episodes like this and longer. Get into the nitty gritty. This is a great 101 for people who are just starting out. You're very organized, which creates a great flow. Great job, K.

maybe it’s just me, but i would think that while discussing skin and sun exposure on a platform for millions to view you would, i don’t know, ask a dermatologist? perhaps that is too logical 🤔

17:41 sir I would love to see your skin 20 years from now since you really believe you can build up a tolerance to f-ing RADIATION 🙄…. Kristin please take down this video. If anyone actually takes his advice that is based on things that have no scientific backing, it will be seriously damaging to their health. And yours too if you’re not careful girl 👀. Like obviously our ancestors didn’t have sunscreen but it wasn’t because they didn’t need it 😒 they didn’t live long enough to experience the side effects of over exposure from the sun.

What a stupid, irresponsible message to spread to thousands of people about sunscreen.

Agree! This is how misinformation spreads and people start believing something that is so far from the actual truth. This video should be taken down because it is preaching such false information about sunscreen. Worst part is this misinformation is being endorsed by a celebrity, so people of course, will believe it. Smh.

I started intermittent last month and feel better. I am 5’3 and for yesrs was 100-103 and healthy and in 2022 unfortunately gained weight and am now 117 and feel fat. I have been running but it hasn’t come for so intermittent fasting has been my latest activity. In my 30’s it’s important to be healthy I worked at an Irvine alternative medicine clinic called Institute for Progressive Medicine that doesn’t take insurance and can be expensive and does have those rich OC old people, but it’s a really good place if you’re in OC

It’s funny how there’s so much conflicting information when it comes to our health. While Dr. Mindy Pelz strongly encourages fasting to reset the gut’s microbiome and regulate our hormones, this peaceful mountain medicine doctor says no to intermittent fasting.. I have been doing intermittent fasting for years. I naturally would not eat for 16 hours.. but now, since I haven’t been running like I used to, I’ve pushed my fasting to one 24hr fast a week followed by daily intermittent 16-20 hr fasts. My strength and motivation to workout suffered so my workouts weren't as good . I feel like I’m more toned, lean and healthy when I increase the strength training and cardio hiit training than if I were to do longer fasts and keto.

I ask you please if you have any questions or thoughts about skin related or the Use of sunscreen related anything talk to a professional don’t take advice for someone who isn’t a trained professional . I had a question about sunscreen what should I use and I called and talk to a professional and he said sunscreen is the most safest and the best way to protect your skin from cancers UV rays, premature wrinkles. Please wear sunscreen it is extremely important. Don’t take advice from someone who not trained.

Excellent interview! I enjoyed this doctor's input. He looks very healthy in his skin & eyes. That's important when finding a doctor that is healthy looking in the skin & eyes. This means they will heal you and keep you healthy VS a doctor that is sickly looking or/and overweight. One thing that is important is to know is the grocery store vitamins/minerals are junk full of bad oils & chemicals that will cause inflammation & sickness. So find a good quality source for clean vitamins/minerals. alcohol is full of sugar (why people love it). How about a interview with Dr Mindy Pelz about fasting (she has a channel & books titled: Fast like a girl and Menapause reset) watch her vid: 7 types of fasting. and Dr Chaffee & Dr ken Berry carnviore diet channels. Both are very healing. Carnivore diet is good for Sibo and other major healthy issues such as obesity, depression, anxiety, gut issues, heart issues, diabetes type 2 etc etc. Carnivore diet is a "elimination" diet that heals the body quickly. Elimination diets were very common back in the 1970's and prior. Infact the Father of Medicine Hippocrates used "elimination diets" to heal back 1000 (?) years ago. ps this is the type of guy you should date. he seems very intune with his emotions & nature.
