Chris, I recommend you apply a ceramic coating to your tractors. I was a bit skeptical until I applied it to my motorcycle. Still looks clean and shiny 4 months later, without washing. So smooth, the dust wont stick to it. Phone in a car detailer for a polish and coating. You'll be glad you did.

You and Uncle John still making good progress. That ponds looks like it will be about 2 acres at the full water line. A real good night time rain storm would help the dust problem - and fresh water wash down for the machines.

Four FEET of topsoil? I'm incredibly jealous. There's less than four inches here, and that's only because we dumped compost on top of what was basically a dusting of soil over gravel.

Great job Chris looking excellent as always.. I have question though.. Do you need to compact the lake/ pond with a vibrating pad foot roller and smooth drum compactor once you have established grade depth and layout to prevent leakage from the lake/ pond?

Chris why when pond building down there don't these ponds have a couple deep holes, based on pond size, for fish habitat? I'm in the upper midwest and we do it for freezing purposes but also habitat. The ponds just look like a big bowl with very minimal structure.
