In Medieval Dynasty, you take on the role of a young man who has fled from war and wants to take his fate into his own hands. From being alone, inexperienced and poor you will develop into a master of many skills, a leader of your community and the founder of a prosperous dynasty which is meant to last and prosper for generations to come. Medieval Dynasty is a unique combination of multiple successful genres:
Survival: The need to survive, feed and ensure survival through hunting, farming and cultivation of the land.
Simulation: Create tools and weapons, construct and extend houses, stables and all manner of buildings as you grow an empire.
Role playing: Develop your own character, interact with NPCs, take care of your family and form community alliances by helping others and trading freely.
Strategy: While pioneering in the Middle Ages you will found and expand a village, manage the inhabitants, collect resources and produce all the goods you need and use or capitalise by trading them.

@@Fiyazai No joke. I did QA for a summer at Take2 testing every concievable way possible to break Civilization 5. It's made even worse when you are playing alpha builds that are already buggy as hell. What Josh is doing is pushing limits which can be fun at times but they rarely waste many QA resources on that fun stuff. Usually it's "go through hundreds of pages of in-game encyclopedia to make sure all the links go to the right places and that there aren't any typos" or "go through the settings menu and change all the settings a 1000 times in different orders to see if any settings corrupt". ....thrilling.

Gostova (truly named "Ghostova") is actually a starter town in which you can literally recruit almost everyone, due to certain reasons. That's why when the mayor of that town gave you permission to build, you were actually building the second settlement for them. Of course, for Josh, this was a bad idea on the mayor's end.
