Karen I live in sweden and used to travel to L.A at least twice a year. Santa Monica and Venice are my happy places. Life has been so rough for the past year so I picked up rollerskating when I saw you on KZfaq. @@KarentheKarrot FYI, there's a nice lil pond with ducks & fishes near the Sheriff's station that you can skate around AND an overpass bridge that goes over the 60 freeway that connects you to Belvedere Skate Park, Belverdere Swim (pool) @the Atlantic (Civic Center) stop. That's where I would take my now 19 y.o. daughter to skate when she was 8 y.o. You can also take the streets to get to Belvedere Skate Park.

Hey Karen, you inspired to buy skates and I’ve been skating for 5 months now. I love it! Question, is it normal for your lower back to have a burning sensation while skating?

I’m no expert, but I’ve been skating for a while, and I think it’s normal. It happens to me, and I think it happens because skating just works muscles in your back and hips that you don’t usually use every day since balancing on skates is a lot harder and takes more coordination and strength than doing most other things.

take some allergy meds before you go out!! that’s what i normally do lol. I use Allergy Relief by Equate if you don’t have any allergy pills 😂

Love your videos escaily this one. I just looked at metros website and it's essental trips only. In vancouver wa that was lifted. But still we get yelled at for wearing skates. So i have an idea. When riding transit develop a device that locks the wheels And hide the wheels.
