Mercedes CLA45 AMG 6 Month Ownership Summary.
I've owned my CLA45 for 6 months now so this video sums up the experience so far.

The CLA45 AMG is such unique car!, the engine, the transmission, styling etc., and for the money I feel it’s worth it!, to keep your CLA45 AMG🙏🏾😁, great overview of your car!

Love the video only thing that I would say with the sport mode I’m pretty sure most cars that have sport mode keep rpm’s high so I can just step on it again with having any lag once up in the rpm’s.

Some good videos! Nice to get reviews from a couple of normal lads unlike some of the channels on here where the guys have 10 cars that mummy and daddy bought them Picked up a new C200 Amg Line with all the extras I could put in it, watching and hearing the exhaust noises from these 2 cars makes me wish I went for the C43! Next time lol

Tom Mendoza haha couldn’t agree more mate! you appreciate it more when you’ve earned it! A C200 is still a lovely car! That was something we did think about buying before the AMG as fully specced they are so nice! but yes the AMGs do sound the part! If you ever consider looking into an AMG I would fully recommend Mercedes retail group, top top people who know what they are talking about 👌🏽 (we are not advertising them at all! We just think the service we have got from them is outstanding! )

Lets Torque About It I did have a 2016 CLA but it was entry level very boring so traded in for the new C Class. The next one will def be a AMG without a doubt! Just been on the site, save so much by buying with a few thousand on the clock by the looks of it

Tom Mendoza yeah I’d say get a pre owned one as the previous owner had taken a lot of the depreciation so you won’t be affected as much. Also the run in would have been done and I’m sure it’ll still have manufacture warranty if it’s a year or two old.

your missing out on a panoramic sunroof on CLA45 makes the car look better and more slick when the sunroof is slided back

the old watching videos of your car type while away lol , I've done plenty of that hehe. yeah sport mode on that model is the most aggressive mode , keeping you in the highest power band possible, hope you get pops and crackles from dabbing the throttle. certainly on the gla , that was a hobby of mine and so easy to do on the 45s. it's much harder to do on the 63s and the sound insulation is a bit too much on the 63s , you can't hear the exhaust as much unless you keep the moonroof open . I find for the wheels a bit of pressure washer , then autoglym shampoo with a sponge and then pressure wash gets the rims as good as new....or not.. because of all the kerb scrapes lol it's a great car , fast and fun and sounds great

Andy P we’ve all ended up doing that haha! Yeah that’s fair, but sometimes it’s just nice to put your foot down and then chill out but I think going forward I’ll do that in manual to keep the revs low when I want them and keep the gears changes to what I want. Thanks for the advise for the alloys, will give that a try!!

Hi mate, looking at buying one of these what’s the fuel economy like? Like if you were to drive in comfort most of the time only on weekends would a full tank last or will it just drain? Thank u

naeema alkiyumi it’s not bad on a long journey, we took both cars on a 9 hour drive to Germany. I can’t say I was uncomfortable from the seats.

Get the latest TCU update done through benz. Fixes the gearbox.

Every car ive had has had the same problem sports mode of no good for town driving or short bursts or going down hills they just hold onto the gears to long and dont let them change hence the high revs and engine screams

waste77 hi mate, yeah on a pcp plan, paying around £400 a month with a £5k deposit. We have done a video in regards to buying advice for a 45 amg, take a look it might help out...hopefully 👌🏽

thanks mate- ive been offered a march 2018 black CLA 45 for £425pm with 3 year term at 6.3 APR but with 7k deposit. I am contemplating but not too sure

waste77 that doesn’t sound to bad!! is that main dealer? also is the CLA fully specced up? In my honest opinion if you are to finance a car make sure it’s proper specced up! Otherwise you’ll be thinking what if 😂

Gmail Account nice selection of cars there, if you want performance I would say the CLA45 as it would rinse those cars. Bains is 6ft5 and he fits fine in his A45. However if it’s a concern about room I’d go for the E400, not badly priced, powerful and rare. Hope this helps

Definitely cla! 29000 is a fare price. The market price for A certified per owned 2015 CLA45 is around 35000USD. I guess your friend’s CLA is not certified. So take it to a mechanic, if everything is ok, buy it.

Liv M M cars are actually good with bumps, the A45 has selective dampers so you can go in sports mode but have the car in comfort so you don’t break your back 😂

DONT CHANGE THE CLA 45 Amg it is a good looking car and sporty car Just buy any Mercedes not any Audi

Have you noticed the delay when you set off from a standstill? U press the throttle and there is a slight delay before the car actually moves.. It's like the clutch doesn't engage quick enough..

Lets Torque About It unfortunately its an a45/cla45 perk.. hands down the worst thing about the car in my opinion. I know it's not a standard auto box coz it's a dual clutch but the auto boxes in other mercs are so much better.. as soon as u touch the accelerator your away. Shame they couldnt do this with the dual clutch.. Would be Interested to see if other dual clutches suffer with the same issue. Anyways good videos lads.. keep it up

Lets Torque About It If you lads can get your hands on a golf r or s3 ect with the dsg/s tronic you could see if it's a dual clutch trait in general or just a mercedes dual clutch issue ect. Would be interesting to see one of them vs your cars on your channel if possible..

Lets Torque About It cheers for the reply. That’s interesting seeing it’s got so much power from just a 2.0. My Subaru has put me off turbos because of the lag, I may to test drive these amg’s as it’s them or the RS5 Audi N/A

Christian Wheeler yeah a lot of power from a mid range engine, they have been tuned well. The best thing is you can still do mods to them to make them more of a monster. I would highly recommend going Mercedes Benz world, and drive the A45 on track, that way you can properly test it out and they really do let you push the cars

Mate, I got a cla45, points you're making are so tiny you could have worst problems, my next door neighbours car everytime they turn it on I'm worried it's gonna explode! You're just bored of the car that's all it is lol also I got the new version, the gear box etc is all sorted out so you won't have any issues with it
